Sienna Miller

^^ lovely pics, BUT: come on Justine Picardie, Sienna is not a Jeanne d'Arc of the movie world fighting against all odds...I find these celebrity descriptions/reports/pseudo-interviews partly embarrassing

I really enjoyed the interview. As jormarlushka said, it seems like the interviewer keeps trying to put the heroic spin on her, but Sienna keeps disarming it. :D

Sienna Miller, 30, was born in New York and educated in England. Having studied drama at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, she made her film debut in 2004 in Matthew Vaughn's Layer Cake. Her other movies include Alfie, Casanova, Factory Girl, Interview and GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra. In 2005, she made her West End debut in As You Like It at the Young Vic. She performed on Broadway in After Miss Julie and appeared in Terence Rattigan's Flare Path in London last year. She plays Alfred Hitchcock's muse Tippi Hedren in The Girl, which airs on BBC2 this month. In July, she had a daughter, Marlowe, with her partner, the actor Tom Sturridge.

When were you happiest?
7 July 2012.
What is your greatest fear?
Losing someone I love.
What is your earliest memory?
My dad's shoes: funny blue 1980s trainers with an N on the side.
Which living person do you most admire and why?
Liu Xiaobo, for his dignity and wisdom. If we could all have a dose of that perspective, the world would be a better place.
Your most embarrassing moment?
Doing an audition with bronchitis and coughing up a greeny on to the script in front of me. On film. Needless to say, I didn't get the part.
Property aside, what's the most expensive thing you've bought?
A guitar.
What is your most treasured possession?
My dog, Porgy, although he might object to being seen as a possession.
What would your super power be?
China.
What do you most dislike about your appearance?
Best not to go there.
If you could bring something extinct back to life, what would you choose?
My breasts.
Who'd play you in a film of your life?
Ronnie Corbett.
What is your most unappealing habit?
Chewing my fingers.
What is your favourite smell?
Marlowe's head.
To whom would you most like to say sorry and why?
It deserves to be said to their face. Which I intend to do…
Have you ever said 'I love you' and not meant it?
Constantly, while wearing funny clothes and talking in a silly voice.
If you could go back in time, where would you go?
Paris in the 1920s would have been spectacular.
When did you last cry, and why?
Last Saturday. A combination of sleep deprivation and Richard Curtis.
How do you relax?
Hot bath, good book, red wine.
How often do you have sex?
Often enough.
What is the closest you've come to death?
When I was five, I was lowered off an 18-hand horse as it startled. I was dropped and it reared up and came down on my cheek an inch from my temple. Had that horse not been so intelligent and lifted its hoof on impact, my skull would have been crushed. Thank you, Gemini.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My daughter.
What keeps you awake at night?
My daughter.
What song would you like played at your funeral?
The Lady Is A Tramp, by Frank Sinatra.
Tell us a joke.
Piers Morgan got away with it.

^ I was confused but now I get it, sort of. She sounds very Zen in her recent interviews.

I think she looks cutely dishevelled in the candids.

^If you read that column regularly, the standard answers are x-ray vision etc... So now a lot of people try and say something a bit different/amusing

Just Like a Woman is on the French/German TV channel Arte tonight.

Synopsis: "A Chicago housewife runs off to Las Vegas to compete in a belly dancing competition."

Arte replays films during seven days after they aired on their website but I don't know if non germans and non french can see them.

I didn't know she was in a movie with Golshifteh!!! :woot: I hope we'll be able to see over in the states soon. Is Sienna speaking French in this movie? I know Golshifteh is a French (Iranian) actress but I don't know if Sienna speaks other languages or not.

i'm so excited she got nominated for a globe! finally people take her seriously as an actress!

She's dubbed in the trailer on that website: http://www.programme-tv.net/programme/divertissement/3856859-just-like-a-woman/bandes-annonces/10877/#sousRubrique She looks very cute. It's a road movie with Golshifteh and Sienna. I don't know if the film will be released in other countries. IMDB only mention the French release. Maybe Arte will have it on replay tomorrow, but I don't know if it will be in French.
