Just wanted to mention, Oprah is wearing a silver Simply Vera satin coat on the cover of the Nov issue. I don't remember seeing this--one of the new pieces perhaps? The snaps look really well done ... but I'm sure it's polyester

pointup i saw the bags and shoes...IMO they're not that great...the bags looked really cheap and definitely old lady to me...but if you have the right outfit u can definitely make it look good. some of the shoes looked good but i didn't like them enough to get them

pointup, just my opinion, but most of the bags with a sort of matte leather were not that great-looking. i did pick up the black large hobo, though, and people seem to really like it and wouldn't guess that it was not leather. i also liked the black large soft satchel, which is the same material as the hobo. the rest of the bags i could take or leave. my style isn't so classic or conservative, so the more subdued, sophisticated design works for me, but if you tend towards more classic looks, it could be a little old-ladyish...it's all about context, i guess

I actually just got back from Kohls after much looking I finally got a black long sleeve, the purple, hooded, satin shirt, and the mustard sweater. Oh, and the black flats (mom is here this weekend.. i'm such a brat!) They ONLY bag I liked was the large hobo besides the little black bag with the chain, but IMHO that wasn't worth the money. and i'm not sure about the large hobo either... but i do think that is the best and perhaps only choice !!!

I love how we all got different things ... and how this is working well for so many different body types. I never thought before that Vera was a genius, but that's what I'm thinking now

so now i am really happy with it and get loads of compliments...
i dragged it all over scotland in a tiny bag and it came out unwrinkled and completely fresh looking...

and it's MACHINE WASHABLE!!!...
it's like a little bit of heaven...

My friend from high school is one of the fabric people for the company (Regatta at 1450 Broadway in NYC) that produces this line and she said Vera is very hands on with this label. Apparently, by the time these items hit the stores, each piece have gone through an exhaustive design process.
