I've recently switched up my skincare routine.

I'll add a guys routine for you:wink:

Olay's Anti Blemish Anti Aging cleanser - my skin is doing so well with this.
Jack Black Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer
Origin's Spot Remover
Kiehls Abysinne Eye Cream
Prada Bio Reviving Concentrate for Face - LOVE THIS!!!
Lush Ambrosia Shaving Cream

I'm thinking about switching some stuff, or adding some other treatment. I really want to find a good resurfacing treatment (Glycolic) that's affordable. I love Natura Bisses' but it's SOOOO expensive.
How would you rate the Kiehl's eye cream??? looking for a new one!!

My routine :
Dermalogica dermal clay cleanser
Dermalogica daily microfoliant
Murad hydrating toner
Murad spot remover
SK2 skin refining treatment (for da night)
SK2 eye film
Origins no puffery for late nights and morning after partying!
Dermalogica multi-vitamin firm
Murad skin perfecting lotion

Im dropping my SK2 stuff once it finishes and moving back to REN, love their eye cream!!!

I really love Vichy 3 in 1 cleanser/ eye make-up remover to fresh up my skin in the day.

midori, is it thick? i'm looking for one that's light.

It's absolutely light. I have combined skin and can't stand thick stuff. And you don't have to wash it off just wipe off with cotton wool or paper tissue.

I have sensitive, very dry skin. Right now I use:

Chanel Système éclat - la mousse: Excellent cleanser, very gentle and luxurious.

Chanel Activateur jeunesse toner: Contains alcohol which my (or anyones) skin doesn't really appreciate... I will definitely switch!

Estée Lauder Advanced night repair: A classic which really helps to keep my skin moisturised, I use it day and night under my regular moisturiser.

Chanel Age delay lotion: Love it, I use the lotion for summer but prefer the cream for winter.

Clarins Fluide lift jour anti-rides: I use this at night right now. I don't really like it, it's not rich enough which leads to some flakiness and shininess... Unless I also use some product under it. But a moisturiser should work on its own IMO.

Clarins Rasage Idéal: The best shaving gel I've tried, and it smells incredibly fresh and invigorating!

Estée Lauder Idealist Micro-D: Like it, but I want to try something new...
-------

When I have a tan I use Clinique's City block or Estée Lauder's Daywear plus to enhance it slightly.

I use Dr.Hauschka -

Cleansing Milk
Facial Toner (only in the morning)
Rose Day Cream (only in the morning)
Mask - once every two weeks

his stuff is all natural and very light. I find if I use too many products I break out more so I only use a few things. Also, i'm only 22 yrs old so I dont need TOOOO many products just yet :D

but Dr.Hauschka's products have been good to me for about three years now so I would totally recomend it to anyone who has pretty normal skin and an occasional breakout. The prices are totally outrageous either (about $25-$35 per product)

Oh, I am just so confused...! I have spent the evening looking at various skin cleanser options, and just can't make up my mind what to try.

I have to say that Eve Lom has the best reviews so far.

These are the following products I use and highly recomend for any guy:

Ocean Sea Salt - Exfoliator
Mask Of Magnaminty - Mud Mask
Fresh Farmacy Face Soap - Blemish Treatmeant
Coal Face Soap - Cleanser for Combination Skin

All Products by: Lush Cosmetics

It is all hand made materials. Made with natural fruits and vegetables and natural oils. Non tested on animals. Great scent (not over powering) makes the skin feel clean and fresh. Very light products.

(I dont use these products daily, just weekly)

Foamless Shaving Cream
Post Shaving Balm
Marine Cleasing Gel
Face Oasis Day Moisturizer

All Poducts by: H2OPlus

These products are derived by sea minerals, very soothing and light. The moisturizers are light and don't feel heavy and definatley not oily which is why I love it. I find many men's moisturizers heavy and oily and this moisturizer feels like you aren't even using cream. Excellent products.

I recomend all these products highly. There are many things about my physical feautures I do not like. However when it comes to my skin, I am very proud. I have no blemishes, smooth, and a great tone skin complextion. I am especially happy since well I do shave often and all these products repair my skin and leave it looking wonderful. Considering I'm 18 which is an age most men get bad skin, I have gotten many compliments about my skin by various people, even workers at the Estee Lauder Spa. So be sure to check out these products, I highly recomend them.
Fresh Farmacy is light?

common word on Lush forums and personal testing suggest that Fresh Farmacy is too clean over tight feeling..way over tight.

Theres some report on sea salt being absorbed into the skin via pores, and thus increasing sodium levels in the body, don't know how true that is, but it certainly makes sense! hmm

the best answer is to experiment, the many products here simply work for us and we swear by them, but it might not necessarily work for you, finding the products for you is pure trial and error!!! The info here is just to give you a better idea and some reviews, but still its ultimately you.

Fire away on those samples!!!

I have to say this about Fresh Farmacy.

I'm oily and prone to breakout..........it was WAAAY to much for me. It dried my skin out so bad.

I mostly use Lush's products, and have been loyal to them for the past few years, and post regularly on their boards, and have tried just about every product they have.

don't you just love the After Tango foot mask? absolutely fabulous!!!!

It's pretty good. I was disappointed in the Running to the Embassy bar, I was hoping it would be coarser and more exfoliating.

Oh well.

Yeah, the toothpastes are not very good.

I mostly use their soaps and shower gels. I was using the Enzymion moisturizer and the Angels on Bareskin cleanser for awhile.

yeah the angels on bareskin is very highly rated, so is coalface

the toothpastes are rather expensive as well like 10 bucks for a tiny tube that last like a HALF A MONTH

What you can recommend for back acne? My facial complexion is pretty good since I love eating fruits and drink plenty of water. But I guess the acne goes onto my back...Since summer is here, that means time to wear the halter tops and tanks. What's the best way to get rid of that annoying pest?? I've tried exfoliating, applying creams, etc. But nothing seems to work. Help!

Hmm, I don't know but it may be a good idea to try different shampoos and conditioners, as natural as possible...hair products could be really harsh without our realizing it and promote breakouts where it trickles down your back. Or perhaps your body lotion? Also don't exfoliate too hard, just in case you are. Hope it helps! :flower:

I use the Shiseido White Lucent 3 step system (Cleanser, Softener and Moisturizer) and am very happy with it so far!

There's um. some clinique anti-blemish chest/back stuff.
Reviews don't sound too kind though.
