^Aww, I like Karen more than Ivy but Karen just doesn't give me the Marilyn feel. I think the Ivy actress is kinda unattractive (but banging body so... ) - especially when she's singing the songs. Not a fan of her singing either - except, the end song. I thought it was the first time I actually enjoyed her singing.

well i can understand their decision, Ivy is great, has the looks, a great voice and sex appeal, i was just rooting for Karen and i could watch her performance (right before they made the decision) all day. but she's not out of the world...

^Oh, I don't think you need to worry about McPhee leaving. I think she's the lead so the show will probably be about her working herself up and threatening Ivy's position. I prefer this anyway, since it's more realistic.

^That assistant guy is really beginning to bug. Maybe he's going for cheeky but I just find him annoying.

i didn't really like eps 3,4 and 5 =(

just done with 6th episode, and i fast forward a lot of part on 5th and 6th cause it doesn't interest me. i think karen is pretty and a good singer but she is definitely not a marilyn, it's like twice the disappointment of michelle williams as marilyn if karen becomes her.
and her character is made too "perfect", maybe the fact cause the cast is mcphee makes me undermined her character even more.
ivy is insecure but her character is more understandable, who wouldn't feel that way if someone's been that long in the shadow on broadway and just got her big chance now?

i love anjelica houston though, she's fab!

I have seen all 6 episodes of this show so far. It's good, but I don't love it. I feel like this show has potential to be a lot better than it actually is. I hope that it will live up to its potential and not be one of those series that always falls short.
