Wow, ballsy move by Next, I doubt anyone wants to work with her now. I still love her look and know her heart is in the right place but her Instagram was a terrible career move. Still, hope things get better for her with Next, she seems to really want it.

Ever since she created her Instagram account she has done nothing positive apart from communicate with her fans. Even though everyone classed her as some what of a b*tch she has really spoiled it for herself with some of the things she posts. Guess this is proof that social media isn't always the answer.

I disagree, I obviously don't know the situation with Women but she was doing some work so it is not like they were stopping her from working. There has never been a top model on Instagram so desperate and eager to cling to the past, I know that is harsh, but she is not the kind of client anyone would want representing their brand

I'm looking forward to her work now she's with next. It will be interesting to see what she produces and how hard they push her/whether she is actually sought after. She thinks she is.

Does she publicly trash the people she works with? I doubt that she would front a campaign and then b*tch about everyone involved or something... Models are chosen because they work well for the brand and because they'll sell. Kendall for instance is hardly immune to backlash and scrutiny but gets work anyway because of her social media popularity. She brings something else to the table that overrides the negatives. if anything I think Snejana may just be a poor fit for the current modeling world because her look is not what's in demand. Striking classical beauties are not valued like they were when she was most successful.

Oh please. Big brands love to have controversial people represent them. Snejana may come off desperate on instagram but it's hardly the worst of all sins. Models have done worse and gotten jobs.

I guess the problem is that her instagram is kind of out of control... As a potential employer you'd never know whats happening next... On the other hand, these days everything seems to be about social media fame, regardless of its content, so maybe she can even get some advantage out of it? I don' think she can seriously harm someone's career since it's kind of hard to take her too seriously (I'M sorry...).

But I personally - as someone who is not into social media fame and does not fully understand it - would find that account problematic. On the one hand she's idealising her (old) self like no other, which I find pretty sad. On the other hand - and that's the out of control aspect - she seems to feel genuinely offended and treated badly by the industry and does not hesitate to make those feelings public. I mean, we don't know what has really happened, and of course models don't have to take everything without complaining, but she either complains without giving any facts, which kind of disgraces everyone who has ever worked with her. Or she feels offended but does not care at all if she is also offending other people in return, like the vogue ukraine nudity thing. Or she brings in personal stuff that should remain private, like whatever she had with Natasha, I don't remember actually what it was about. I believe noone can be sure that she'll be fine and won't complain about whatever she feels offended by, during a job.

Moreover I also doubt that there is much demand for her at the moment, at least not for a "Snejana superstar" comeback. But I personally would not mind if got work again, I really liked her as a model, that VI cover is pretty much my all time favourite.

^I wonder if people at Next will try to reign in her Instagram behavior. But to be honest, people posting on her account seem to find nothing wrong with it. And going off of it, and the response online from her brief reappearance at FW a few seasons back, I think there is a demand for her.

Next need to keep an eye on her instagram account, or make Snejana tell them before she posts anything. Now she just needs to work on getting runway ready for the next RTW season and book some key shows.
