Someone Makes A Comment On Your Heels, Response?

Lets say a total stranger comes up to you and comments (in a positive manner) your shoes/boots/etc. How would you react to that?

I was always told curiosity killed the cat, but I never listened too much to it

I thank them and then tell them where they can buy them if the shoes are a recent purchase. I'm pretty open about where I buy my clothes and how much I paid for them. I don't think anyone would copy me, nor would I really care if they did. Unless it's someone I hang out with on a regular basis, I don't want to go out looking like twins.

I'm always flattered to get a compliment on what I'm wearing....and I don't worry about telling anyone where I shop either.

i always always always say "thank you, they were a gift" that way it shields me from looking too superficial

i just thank them too and if they ask where i got it, i would tell them since they're strangers right? but if it's someone i know, i would be more hesitant to tell them.

I always say thanks...and if I am in a good mood I may tell them where I got whatever from...if I look fab then they should too...(hehehe)

thats about it. sometimes they ask where i bought them.. but i never deepen the conversation if its a stranger

haha i would quickly inform them i design everything i wear and construct it, like building a house haha. no you do not want to ask me about my shoes because you will never get a casual comment . unless i am wearing something from another designer i usually wear my own designs or the line of my employer. but i do not mind telling people where to get shoes but i remind them i do customizations haha, one of a kind!

It happened to me the other week, a stranger complimented me and asked me how much it was and where i got it from. i dont mind telling them, its flattering that they're that interested.

If I got the item for super cheap (usually the case) I'm usually like "Thanks, got it for ten bucks!" Otherwise it's just thanks unless they ask more...

unfortunately, this has happened maybe like 5 times in my life... damn Hamiltonians

Anyhow, oddly enough for me it depends on how they say it. Usually it's, "I love you shoes!" I just smile say thank you and tell them I love them too. It took me quite a while to get to this stage. I am horrible at receiving compliments. Took a while for me to get over the whole, "this ole' thing?"...
