Spanish Street Style

MulletProof thanks lots. You know how to explain things in a really clear and nice terms and im glad and concerned about your point of view. And i obviously im gonna be more picky while trying to contribute into this topic from now on... (sometimes i do find in average taste a kind of eccentric inspiring things but i guess its like let your mind going to much further and this is maybe not the right place for that kind of shoots and i do respect that lots...my mind is a bit crazy at that point sorry:blush:)
So i hope my today's selection is a bit more welcome that the last ones... Really hoping people come here and dont feel like Spanish style is being bad treat... cause that's not my intention so apologizes if someone got offended in the past by my pictures...:flower:

way to go, edie! now that's some streetstyle!
I like the man in the red sweater, he looks like he's not quite sure why he's being photographed.
do they ever ask you where you're going to post their photos, edie?, I'd be so tempted to do that, but pretty scared of reading mean things.. anyway, they all look fantastic.. and looks like autumn's being kind to them, too. :p

^In fact he asked me to being taken a picture (a bit like joking) and I looked at a perfect gentleman so polite and curious that was wearing like a casual perfect example of it in Spain. We talked for a while he was intelligent and friendly i was happy he wanted to pose. :) I always talk about tfs... and people ask me about the site.... So yeah!! Sometimes its more time i spend explaining that clicking as people in the center is always going somewhere... so they have more to time to listening than to posing... And I'm always a bit in a rush so its all rushing up... :D

I can't wait to see more of your photos, ediewho! You have a good eye!

One day I'll be in Spain, and hopefully someone will want to take my picture. Which city do you live in, if you don't mind me asking? :flower:

The man in the golden wrap #335 is blowing my mind! He really pulls that off!

^ papa_levante, we'll take a picture of you and check your spanish next, hehehheh : )

^ trizzia, you just light up my life, from spanish help to your beautiful wardrobe!

You Spaniards are perfection in the human form!

hahaha, thanks lovely!

i wish we were half that perfect! if you ever come to visit us, tell me, and I'll manage to meet you myself with some friends just to prove how wrong you are! hahahah... : P

^^I love the outfit of the second woman, the fact that the suit is loose and so simple but she accessorized well with the necklace and belt.

and thanks for your other post, edie, I was assigned to do some streetstyle coverage a few months ago and it was disastrous, I think my great disadvantage was not being able to approach people, they just seemed in such a rush I was afraid of interrupting them on their way, cause yeah, it takes a while having to explain, especially when they're unfamiliar to the 'streetstyle' term.. you're doing good anyway, you're photographing a lot of people I'd be scared to stop in the middle of the street.
I also love that you're photographing people from all ages, not just teenagers or young adults.. we definitely need that more.

garancedore

how is it possible she spotted la chica Bose ????
is there a fashion week in Madrid right now ?

hope this shot will "relaunch" her career in modelling.
or did she really quit ?

* and sry to interrupt a streetstyle conversation with a model talk. oops. but i was so surprised, that i even wondered if they didn't contact her, bfore. or met on purpose. *

I'm not sure Garance's shots can be considered spottings or casual encounters anymore.:p

Eleonora (bimba) has a band now and just released a new album this year so she's probably focusing on that for now.

garancedore

it says:

... "and I ran into Bimba in the Plaza de Chueca. We talked for a while and I was sorry that I had to take a plane a few hours later. She’s a funny one, Bimba. She’s a model, a singer, too, (Go and listen to the song Beauty in Vogue. It’s so gooood!) the niece of a bull-fighter, a mother, she’s covered in amazing tattoos, and I would have loved to have had more time to get to know her."

^I took pictures of her in a festival with her band...she was cool I was the only girl photographer and it was an early time they played soooo sooo sunny and warm! so she gave me some nice shoots like posing when i was getting closer :D I took that like a nice detail for the only girl who was there following her movements. But I did noticed that and I felt like she was trying to give me the best shoots. It was soooo cool.:D

^Thanks MulletProof I'm really polite and well dressed while i approach people... I'm not shy at all... there's people who says no no but I always smile back and say "thanks you look great!! have a lovely day!"...other people its really into fashion or really into talking im always so enthusiastic it might be contagious! so it's great... i got to meet nice people while taking pictures this way... Its all a bit rushing as people is always running in the center but its also nice... I hope improve on that... my field in photography was totally different sooo i gotta change my point of view and so... but I hope I can get some positive progression :D
