Stretch Marks

Hum ... I have this awful stretch mark across my derriere, the worst part is that my skin is tanned and the marks are very light coloured so I look like a zebra! They got there cuz of my growth spurt and now I know I'll just have to live with them ...

Wanna see a model with stretch marks??

This is Patrina Khashoggi in an editorial 4 style.com. Hers dont look so bad, but atleast they didnt airbrush em out!

You can clearly see Jaime Pressly's on the "Girls of summer" video :p

That's true; as women we will all grow hips and boobs so most of us are going to get stretchmarks no matter how slim we are. And if you don't get stretchmarks, you'll probably get cellulite because of how fat collects on women's bodies. If you have neither you are the luckiest woman in the world!

I've just recently gotten noticable stretch marks on my lower tummy by my belly button. I have like 4 going all the way across and they are really noticable. Ick.

I have some on my breasts and of course my inner thighs and I think some on my lower hip/back.

I hate it.

Love them??? No no no! I have Ultramarine's problem. Bring on the semi-permanent tattooing.

hahaha mind telling me what your signature quote is from?

hi lilalia,

borrowed the quote from a discussion on this forum (for the life of me i can't remember which topic it was) . The original quote was longer and more humorous. but the general gist of it i saved:

On the definition of sexy: A former colleague in a previous line of work was saying something like he really liked how his wife wasn't afraid of dressing like a "real" woman, to fix her hair and wear make-up in a classy way. You know, sexy...I was expecting an elegant creature when i met her, but she basically looked like a prostitute with a serious weight problem..

SiennainLondon you crack me up, everytime I read one of your posts I can't stop laughing... so I accidentally found this thread, but one of my cousins went through a huge growth spurt in a matter of months (I'm so jealous:( ) and was left with all this stretch marks around her hips, she went to our esthetician and she did two session of glycolic peels, once every week for 6 weeks rest two weeks then start again (70%glycolic) and between appointments (about two days after each appointment) she would scrub her body with that neutragena body microdermabrasion brush that you can get at the store for like 40 USD and then use vitamin e oil right after and everynight before going to bed and now you can barely and I mean BARELY see her stretch marks, and the esthetician thinks that once she tans a little bit you won't be able to see them at all, so maybe that might work for some of you guys, HOWEVER I asked her before posting this and she warned me to tell you that this should NOT be done in places such as breasts and behind your knees because the skin is a much more thin and delicate there and it could turn out very bad!!!!

to whoever asked about Stivectin, this cream barely works on stretch marks but it does WONDERS for wrinkles (that's one of the reasons is so popular, all the celebrities use it but for wrinkles!! not stretch marks so save your money)

I saw a couple of people mention this brand, but has anyone else used Mustela Stretch Marks Double Action Or Mustela Stretch Marks Intensive Action?

I'm not sure what the difference between the two is other then the name. ^_^

I have stretch marks that are pale, but horrible on my stomach. I use to be really thin then I gained weight on this horrible medication that messed up my thyroid and it was a couple of years before I could lose any weight. I am thin again and have been for almost 2 years and exercise regularly, but I am not sure what to do with the skin on my lower tummy. It's just this one area 3 inches long where the skin is wrinkly looking. It's the only thing I'm really really self-conscious about on my body and I think only surgery will fix it.

hey ...has nebody tried the strivectin brand for stretch marks? ..i assume it should b getting popular now that sephora sells it.

has nebody tried trilastin?? apparently it was featured on tyra banks show ...but i never watched it.
