Stretch Marks

I have really bad stretch marks on my bum... they're not silvery small lines either... and because my skin is kinda tan the white lines are even more obvious. I look like a tiger from behind.

jessica alba has stretch marks too!!.. bet she got rid of them..or airbrushed them out in other photos.

its really faint..they're on her boobs.

^ she has it on her butt too.

i dont know i think its pretty normal. at least most girls i have seen with at least a B cup or bigger has them. i used to hate mine but they faded so i forget they are there. and to everyone who dont have them..lucky bastardos!

Yeah, most women have stretchmarks and/or cellulite from puberty and being the shape that a woman is meant to be. Especially if you grew boobs and hips incredibly fast.

Some men also have it from having sudden growth spurts or from building muscle too quickly.

I keep hearing Mederma is great for stretchmarks, but I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet. I have horrid stretchmarks on my inner thighs and not-so-bad ones all over my hips.

My sister happened to have left her Strivectin cream in my room when she went back to Manchester .

That's the same problem i have. dark brown skin with white lines all over my back side. Can't ever wear a proper bikini:cry:

they're on the side of and back of my ***. and i have a few on my breast. there's no way to get rid of them for good besides surgery or daily exercise.

this is probably a very stupid question, but what are stretch marks?
i probably know it in chinese, but still:blink:

it's such a normal thing, i mean, unless you haven't hit puberty yet and you've been skinny your whole life, you're bound to get stretch marks.

I have them in my butt, cause I was born with a big round butt to obnoxiously look out of place on a slim body, and the constant weight gain/loss, has made them worse.

but nothing that a little bit of self confidence and mederma can't fix

i mean, everybody has them!

i used to hate mine. i got big latino hips almost overnight and have some stretchmarks on the sides of my hips and low back, but now it seems like everywhere everybody has them, the normal ones, the fit ones, the skinny ones it only changes the area, now i dont care about them, im concentrating on having a better body shape than focusing on my stretchmarks, they cant see them all the time so why bother?

my brother who is only 15 grew so fast and his back has soooooooooooooooo many stretch marks that my mum got scared.. so she took him to the dermatologist.. loll but the primary reason to go to the derma was because my brother did not want to swim at school for p.e. and he wanted to get a note excusing him... and he got a doctor's note.. hahah lol.. that's a good reason for not wanting to swim, at least for me. i wouldnt want to expose my back full of marks.. i feel bad for him because he has so many on the back.. i didnt know you could get stretch marks on your back..

please give feedback on any of the creams you're using. My philosophy is not to use any more creams...i've decided to wait a bit till plastic surgeons have come up w/ something really good. W/ the money I'm paying for vitamin E oils...i prolly can get one or two sessions of laser or microdermabrasion.

Has anybody tried microdermabrasion on stretch marks???... im goin to a place in toronto that's only 60 bucks..but then again..i know her.

^ You know what really works? Bio-Oil!

:buzz: It's pretty expensive but not that bad, I'd always run out and have to buy it again and again so I think buying the big bottle is the best.

It REALLY helped me out, but Im just going through adolescence so thats probably it, but it really works for me. And it's faded out a lot of my stretchmarks! I really and truly reccomend it to you. :)

Yeah, I guess I am waiting too for plastic surgeons to come up with something good too. :) :innocent:

personally I have a fear that something like scars or something like that will appear on the skin after such procedures...at least I've heard that.
ok, so I have been using lots and lots of creams that proclaims to be anti-stretch marks, but the best from those was/is StriVectine IMHO...its a bit expensive in Moscow something like over 200 buks for 150 ml but its the best thing what I have been using lately

ok..but has anybody encountered a cream that gets rid of white old stretch marks. I'm not talking about the purple ones..b/c ppl tend to think that the creams work.. by fading them..but the reality is that they fade on their own...and you've just wasted your money

If you're talking about minimizing those lines from purple big lines.. then thats a different story.. ur cream is working its magic.

sadly there is no cream that gets rid of older ones. at least none that i am aware of. whoever invents something will surely be a multi-millionaire. i have heard of a laser called fraxel that can sometimes be effective. ask your derm.
