NATALIA VODIANOVA
IN
JOHANNESBURG "Johannesburg, also known as eGoli(place of gold), is the largest and most populous city in South Africa."
The city also has several art museums, such as theJohannasburg Art Gallery, which featured South African and European landscape and figurative paintings.
Natalia sits at her computer, doing some research for and upcoming family vacation to Johhanesburg. She spents hours online reading about it's wonderful attractions. She grows tired, resting her head for just a minute. Before she knows it, she is fast asleep, dreaming...
In her own dream world, Johannesburg is a land of golden wonder. The museums and galleries she visits are extravagant and outlandish, making her only more excited for the reality that's arriving.
Natalia laughs as she tells her husband about her surreal dream. He just stares at the camera with an expression that reads "Remind me why I married this women?" He is still happy about the thought of visiting the city with his family.
* I realize I says Vienna on the picture, but I hope something like that doesn't factor into the picture. =)
Berlin can either be super fashionable, or super cool, with CLUBS, MUSIC, ROCK, and BEER...
RAQUEL feels more comfortable in the ROCK scene
Raquel was backstage with Gemma, it was 2 weeks until her birthday, and Gemma already got Raquel her gift! A ticket to see her favourite band from Berlin play in a underground nightclub, the band was called 'Kunst' and they would play their new track 'Ich hab noch einen Koffer in Berlin'
Gemma gave Raquel the ticket... Raquel was so shocked! 'Is this really for me?' 'Well duhh' Gemma said and she sarcastically hit her cheek
Raquel was SO excited, but what would she wear?
She decided, to dress like Marlene Dietrich, the famous film star from Berlin, and wear a REAL FUR coat, she bought it from a vintage shop in Berlin on her first day, and it was sold during the inflation period of Germany between the wars!
After the AMAZING gig in the underground club, Raquel drank loads of beer! She felt so German, she loved Berlin...
Raquel also went to loads of museums, she was interested in the war, she learned loads of things, about how Germany and Berlin imparticular were affected by the ToV, it was fascinating! Turns out Clemenceau and Lloyd George both wanted to treat Germany badly, and yet, Wilson stuck up for Germany. She also learned about how Ebert didnt run Berlin very successfully, and also, how inflation brought it to the ground, she learned about Hitlers claim to fame and how Inflation nearly crumbled germany, but did you know the wall street crash actually crumbled germany even more? but thats an unrelated subject, also, she learned that hitler made alot of changes in berlin and the real germans didnt like berlin because they found sex and all that very shocking she learned about hitler and germany and how the USSR, and allies ended up with Germany splitting them up into 4 zones and it caused alot of anger in the usa because of the communist threat and even led to the ussr putting nuclear weapons in cuba, which caused even more tension for the usa, however, germany is getting back on its feet economically and socially, raquel just loved learning about all of this blah blah blah
(I have my final history exam in a few weeks, ignore that last bit...revision )
Snejana Onopka in New Delhi Snejana was used to travelling, all models are.
In fact, it was rare to find a place she hadn't visited - so when Paris Vogue organised an editorial shoot in New Delhi, Snejana had to check on wikipedia for some facts.
She knew though, it would be a long shoot, and two long flights....the glamourous life of a supermodel!
The city is bright, busy, colourful and full of life.
When the shoot with Vogue was over, Snejana felt the exact opposite. She was drained, but her flight wasn't for another day.
Luckily, the photographer Steven Meisel recommended a yoga retreat - how perfect, Snejana thought!
On the banks of the river Yamuna, to the east of the city, Snejana was instructed on key yogic techniques, for breathing and relaxation.
On the day of her flight, she woke with the sunrise to practise her stretches and align her chakras.
Back in New York, it was business as usual for all the models as Fashion Week had begun.
In the middle of it all, Snejana remembered what she had learnt, her poses, breathing and relaxtion techniques and could smile.
Romina Lanaro in
Beverly Hills With Romina's increasing wealth from modeling, she feels that a trip to
Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is called for, and she has asked her good friend Miss Eugenia Volodina to accompany her. Romina isn't normally the snobby,
rich, type of person but it is fun to try on someone elses character, as if it
were a piece of clothing, every once in a while. So Romina, in her leopard print
coat and golden pumps, heads down to the most expensive shopping district in
the world, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California.
Once in the Rodeo shopping district, Romina heads straight
to see Mr. Valentino. He is one of her favorite designers, and
she loves getting the personal attention of Mr. Valentino himself.
She settles on a lovely, red, evening dress, that he picked out just for her.
Jessica decided to go to Mexico for her birthday. This would be her first adventure all on her own, so she drove down because she had always wanted to go on a road trip.
She stopped at a garage just before arriving at Mexico City, and noticed even the cat was feeling the heat! Exhausted from her trip down, Jess decided to go relax in the hotel Sauna before she went out.
Who did she find in the Sauna?
Only Heather Marks, one of her good friends! They had a nice long chat in the Sauna.
Jess and Heather may have stayed in the Sauna a bit too long, judging by their faces!
Jess may have started out her holiday wanting sometime alone, but after seeing Heather she realised it's much more fun to enjoy it with someone!
Jessica and Heather went on to visit the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco, admire the Angel of Independence and dance the Rumba in the evening.
