Whoaa, they look almost exactly alike. Dare I say his dad is almost prettier? THere is an interview where he's asked who the best looking person is in his family, him or his brothers, his reply was that it was his father. He said if you saw him you'd be like: *Takeshi drops his jaw*. Very cute. Thanks so much!

as an asian american, i can tell you right off the bat i'm surprised, but thinks its really refreshing that he's of full asian descent.

i'm saying that bc sometimes it seems uber asian celebs like Daniel Henney or Dennis Oh get a lot of attention bc they are this beautiful, untouchable, bi-racial mix that's put on a pedestal bc they have 'westerner' in them.

not that i have anything against them at all or am bitter towards caucasian people, ha lol - i just think its really great when guys like Takeshi get attention bc i think asian by itself is beautiful too.

I totally get what you're saying, and I appreciate that too. I'm Indian myself, and what you're saying reminds me of how people react to Aishwarya Rai sometimes. They're like "OMG, she's gorgeous! Is she mixed?"

As a Caucasian girl I can tell you that I don't really find neither of them that fascinating. They're handsome men, sure, but not more so than full-Asian men. Maybe in Asia they get some special attention because of their mixed ancestry, dunno.

She has unusual eye color for an Indian, I suppose.

LOL story of my life . . . one of my grandparents and both of my parents were born here in the US, so we are generally more assimilated to 'american culture' and i don't dress 'typically asian' (and i'm not saying that's a good or bad thing) - not on purpose. it's just how i came up, and in college i used to get a lot of the 'oh he's white-washed' comments.

i've also gotten what some might think of as a backhanded comment like, 'you're a really attractive asian guy, are you bi-racial?' . . . i've learned to let it roll off my back and realize some people are just that . . .

. . . but this Takeshi guy, woooo woooo, he's got a pretty sexy deep voice too
