Target carrying Coach, etc?!?!?!

has anyone heard anything about target stores that will start carrying designer accessories? i missed the meeting at work about it, but rumor is they will for sure carry Coach bags. anyone?!

Dont get me started on that crap! Coach thinks they're Chanel or Dior, they call themselves high end. But THEN there are people who put Coach in the same category as Gucci, Dior and Prada...Its really crazy...

I'm really suprised when people put Coach (and Dooney and Bourke) on the same level as LV, Gucci, Dior and all the other generic labels. I once tried to explain to some that Coach is not high end and they seemed rather shocked and confused. Then again these are the same group of people who see abercrombie as high end.

I despise my cousin for this, all that, right there! Just because Dooney & Bourke cost more than a hundred bucks doesn't put it in the same league as Louis Vuitton!

Seriously... where did people get the idea that D&B (!) is high-end? Price maybe, but look at the material! look at the design!

i also agree. it is disgusting. i have in-laws who worship coach. it's laughable really. like "OH MY GOD, YOU HAVE A COACH BAG!!??" (when it's my slumming it bag) and then they say nothing about my LV's. it's so strange.

Yes, a lot of people think Coach and Dooney & Bourke is soo high end. They don't even know how much a REAL Louis Vuitton costs, because so many people carry fakes that they think are real (HINT: if you only spent $200, it's a fake!). And, as Sakina said, these people think that Abercrombie & Fitch is designer clothing. They also think Juicy Couture is real couture.

Just about every girl of status at my school carries either Coach or Dooney and Bourke handbags. I don't find the collection hideous as much as immature- the bright colors and over the top patterns suite teenage girls very well. I have one Coach bag- black and silver- but apart from that bag I'm not that into their look. It would be nice, however, to see the girls in my school not be able to brag about their Coach bags

to some of us (me being a poor college student!) coach is high end. i agree it's nothing compared to LV, dior, gucci, etc, but they ARE nice bags. i think it's a cool idea for target to start carrying them...although it will only make my stops to target even LONGER and more EXPENSIVE...i can never go in there and buy just what i came for!

My sister bid like crazy on this Coach bag on eBay and I just kind of sat back and rolled my eyes. Then again, she's big into labels and such; which is not at all bad, but...I think you guys know what I mean.
