True Religion @ Target???

I know my Target does have REAL antik denim and joe's jeans. They're the ugly, neglected, ill fitting jeans that end up in discount stores. They usually are over embroidered or orange cordury or something completely undesirable. They retail for about $70-80 I believe.

No, thankfully. I was getting dressed to go out and was like "what is all this thread" then I traced it back to it's orgins, the bottom of my pants, I the whole pant leg came apart, I was fuming because I had them for like three months, I returned them the next day to Barneys...

True Religion has really crappy quality. They really do make your *** look incredible though.

Yes they fit really well especially the Joeys the best fitting jean ive had in a while.
"Luella isn't Karl or Issac, she can't make a lower-end line and get away with it"
I like that. But Didnt Karl just do one collection for H&M? I still dont find that bad since H&M has a euro fashion foward edge. Then the Karl line that lasted like 6months but that wasnt low end, the tees were still $165 to start

Really what state is your Target in if you dont mind me asking? I have to see this can you post a picture?
True Religion Jeans are DEAD if this is true. Saks,Neiman,Nordstrom wont tolerate carrying the same line of merchandise as Target.
But something iffy about this since the whole Fendi/Sams Club Scandal & Coach/Target Scandal
That sucks because I just bought a pair at Saks

kind of like paper denim & cloth. dillards is selling them now.

But that isnt a downgrade its in a dept store. Plus Dillards has those BCBG mini stores inside of them,Donald Pliner,Cole Hann,Ed Hardy,French Connection,D&G by DG sunglasses,Mac & Chanel Makeup counters. So Paper Denim & Cloth makes sense to add to line up in that situation. (It fits in with the other brands)

There is no way! H&M would never allow 165 dollar tees. I own a piece from that collection that I got on eBay, the quality is such shite so Im sure it wasn't more than $30.

Paper Denim & Cloth isn't cool anymore either. I need new jeans...Cool jeans...

^^No No No Diorling I was talking about the H&M one AND the Line Karl Largerfeld had at Neiman Marcus it lasted about 1 season this year. It had the tshrits that said Karl an other pieces blazers, slacks, etc.

OH, ya. That Neimans line was really similar to his H&M line, just with tripled prices. I was so excited about it, too bad it's all really fug.

I *do* want Chanel Homme though...*fans*

target had a promotion called "the find" where they put coach and antik denim within the stores just for people to happen on.

i dodnt think its a good idea. i think they should just stick with the "go international" series.

i do know that paper denim cloth is reducing the prices of their jeans to create sort of a middle market.

See I saw that on the detriotpress.com website but that is it if you google it nothing shows up an its not on Targets website no press releases or anything. An with "the find" program they should call its "spot a fake" since they were pushing fake coach bags which makes me question the antiks, joes, etc they are carrying

Well the nail is in the coffin at Target they are Scandalous over there at the big red dot. Here is an offical email from True Religion at Target.

Dear True Religion Online Customer,

We are aggressively investigating the appearance of True Religion Brand
Jeans selling at Target stores, an unauthorized channel not sold by
True Religion Apparel, Inc. We suspect that some counterfeit goods are
circulating here in the United States and the Company is actively working
with Federal and State agencies to identify the source and to prohibit
these goods from entering the country.

Kind Regards,

Customer Service
True Religion Online

First Coach now True Religion anyone else seeing a pattern here? I hate to come to regional sterotypes like Diorling but those idiots at Target know nothing about fashion brands an authentcity but what do you expect from fashion division at company based in the Midwest.

I couldnt believe this when I heard this. Thank God I never liked TR jeans.

my guess is that the items are real and the companies are just angry they were sold by a third party to target.

^ Ya, Loehmann's is one thing but Target is a status killer...

Im glad to see SOMEONE knows the difference between merchandise showing up at Loehmanns an showing up at Target.

not a big deal. true religions are going the way of the dodo bird anyway. someone eventually had to pull the plug on the whole designer jeans craze.
