Target carrying Coach, etc?!?!?!

my friends has a D&B framed purse, it's very sute. Very bright.

But most D&B is rather mid 90's looking to me, with the chalikish colors and the copy of the LV monogram D:

COACH is not a high end brand (and unattractive to boot)...When will people recognize that? COACH believes/thinks it is in the same league with the other designers LV, Gucci, Fendi….but it is just a kids brand or a soccer mom suburbanite brand…I see a lot of high school kids carrying around the bags as well as really bad knock offs of LV and Prada…Dooney & Bourke also falls into this same category with their ugly and child like bags.

That's merely a matter of opinion. People aren't "recognizing that" because it's not a fact. I personally think Coach bags are quite attractive.

I'm in college. I like to look nice, but I really can't afford an LV in any way, not that those aren't just as cliche! It's not about what brand you're carrying. I have two Coach bags, the first Chelsea hobo and the Hamptons small pebbled hobo. They don't flash those horrible C's and they're nice leather. I don't talk about them, and I don't really think they're something, but they are good quality and good-looking. I have nicer bags and I have less nice ones, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Don't be a snob.

For me, everytime I have gone into a coach storye I do see a lot of nice stuff. It seems to be very well made. There are many elegant, attractive bags. In terms of pricing, its not crazy high.
My problem is not with coach, but with the coach things people buy. They send me their catolog each season (although I usually just look), and there is always SOME very cute stuff. But the only things I have ever seen people carrying is the hideously tacky monogramed crap. So I dont think its fair to dis coach - they carry a range, from gross - to nice. Its just people seem to only buy the nasty =(

I think most Coach bags are nice, but not the monogrammed ones. Many people forget that Coach makes non-monogrammed bags that are actually very nice. But of course I do agree, Coach is definitely not among the ranks of most high-end designers.

Yeah it may not be elite, but my mom swears by her plain leather Coach shoulder bags-they aren't insanely expensive and they aren't It bags so she can carry it for years.

That being said, having Coach and D&B at Target...
