thanks for posting the pic of your coathanger, it's so cute! and i love the font you have on your arm <3

just a question, has your hair grown over your coathanger one or is your hair just low in the picture? i want to have mine in around the same place but i don't want my hairline to grow over it and cover it up lol.

here is a better picture:

(my pic)
but the coathanger is pretty high, I didnt wanted it to be too low. I dont want everyone to see it. and because of its high, I am able to tie my hair and still the couthanger is not seeable. i wanted it to be a really personal tattoo, thats the reason for that.

But i think my 75year old grandma wouldn't like to have a Doc with tattoos. I think the Love for tattoos came with our Generation. My Mom also dislikes tattoos. I think my gradma wouldn't feel confident with such a Doctor.
Yep. I'm a med student, and we're adviced against visible tattoos (arms, neck, hands etc) simply because you have to look neutral. And most people in the hospitals are, well, old and a bit more conservative. Personally I don't give a crap whether or not my doc has tats, but my future patients will.

thats pretty
i would never get one*, but i absolutely love those bird tattoos, i've seen quite a few and i always think they look so nice

*because of my fear of birds, i have nothing against tattoos!

Does anyone here have a white ink tattoo like Abbey Lee has it?
I'm normally not a fan of tattoos, but I thought Abbey's looked very elegant and I'd kind of like to have one. But I don't want one if that is some upcoming trend or anything  Would getting a white tatto be any different from getting one in black ink or should every tattoo artist be able to do it?

I've seen a few white ink tattoos and they look infected or something. I guess it depends on skin coloring? JMO.

I like the tattoo she's got on her finger, but I don't think I'll do a finger tattoo with my weird skin^^

You generall think they look infected? I've seen a few pictures of white tattoss that didn't look so nice on the internet. I can imagine it only works on parts of your body where your skin is very very pale, like the inside of the wrists.

I have a white ink tattoo it was done almost 2 years ago. I doesn't show up too well in pictures though. You have to have really pale skin or they don't really turn out and a lot of the time they turn out to be an eggshell color

^Thanks for sharing. It looks really nice from what I can see! I am very pale, so I guess it would work on my skin, too.

I have 3 tattoos. Small dragon on my lower back, and another small dragon near my belly button.

This is my latest one, celtic knot on my right wrist.

I'm actually going to book an appointment with my tattoo artist before christmas, hubby promised me a new tattoo for my 30th b-day
I'm not quite sure yet what it will be (I have few options), but I would like to have it done on my upper back / lower neck.
