Yep. I'm a med student, and we're adviced against visible tattoos (arms, neck, hands etc) simply because you have to look neutral. And most people in the hospitals are, well, old and a bit more conservative. Personally I don't give a crap whether or not my doc has tats, but my future patients will.But i think my 75year old grandma wouldn't like to have a Doc with tattoos. I think the Love for tattoos came with our Generation. My Mom also dislikes tattoos. I think my gradma wouldn't feel confident with such a Doctor.
I've seen a few white ink tattoos and they look infected or something. I guess it depends on skin coloring? JMO.
