thats ok :) just see how u go and when u get closer to the date maybe u will get more excited to get one day.. or even just go to the place and ask them alot of question, and depending on ur tattoo size, maybe you can get a numbing cream put on the spot where u wanna get it done.

sure? i can get a cream that numbs the place where i get the tat??? aww that'll be amazing :D

i'm getting some more ink on my foot in a few weeks; i'll let you know how that one pans out in terms of pain versus the ribcage & some of my other more "choice" tattoo locations. :o

I love this feather this is somethign I'd get done if I had the guts to go through with it... however I also think of what it's going to look like when I'm old...

Sorry for the blurry picture. In case you can't read it, it says "these fugitive words." It's from the Pablo Neruda poem I Have Gone Marking. I got it because I'm a writer, and I sometimes have this fear like my words are slipping away from me, and they'll eventually run out. I guess I got it to remind myself to face down that fear.

 ohso deep, yes?

This poem in spanish is lovely :)

My friend got some lovely koi on her ribs last October!

They were inspired by this photo and a tad modified. ^_^ -

I hope to get the koi on my ribs. That might be it. ^_^ I heard ribs hurt most.

I love thes koi too. One black, one orange sort of in the sameposition as the koi above.

If I'm feeling spunky, I might get a cartoon-geisha I saw in Seventeen magazine. It was on the model's shoulder. I can't find the volume, but I hope to find scans on the Internet.

I love the half-sleeve and the idea that the geisha doesn't look like a real woman but a cartoon rather.

(I'm so psyched about a tattoo since my friend koi were beautiful!)

Let me know when you get it, I'd like to see the outcome :)

Won't be at least until February but if I'm drunk enough, then sooner!

My friend had one black and one orange, and it cost her $400. So I gotta put that money away!
