Tattoos

Fashionturnip - I will ask my brother where he got his as he lives in London, well Brixton. Also, he's a barrister, so can sue if they turn out crap. Seriously, my brother got his tats somewhere in Soho & they are pretty cool. (just not as good as mine!) but thats just Sibling Rivalry

Can anyone reccomend I really good tattoo studio in London? I went to the one on 'london ink'...but apparently all the people from the show only work 'on the show' so you cant just walk in & get tattooed by them!

I also tried 'Into you' but didnt like what the guy came up with when he drew it on my arm (he didnt like my picture I bought in!).

I got one nr Soho which im pleased with but they seem to have shut down now.

Any suggestions?! Someone great at black and grey preferably. Thanks:flower:

Feline, thank you for that. If your brother is a barrister based in London, he has to wear a gown and wig for court hearings, right?

Folks, do not be fooled by this man's somber exterior. There are tattoos to be found on his body.:ninja: What a delightful blend of tradition and modernity.:flower:

I asked my brother & he said Frith St & also one in Old Compton St is very good. He does indeed have to wear a wig & gown in court, so his tattoos (celtic & aztec designs) are covered by his gown. I don't know if he takes his earrings out in court - maybe his wig covers them! I prefer my tattoos to his as they are personal to me and was involved in the design of 2 of them.

^^so beautiful:heart:did she write it in a paper and the artist copied it or did she write it in your arm and then the artist worked over it?:flower:

yeah, she did write it on paper and then he copied it on my body. ;>
thank you so much ;)

it feels so good, now i am considering "Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today." underneath my stomach. ;> or just one part of it. i have to see how it works there.. ;>

I want a small Star outline on my left hand, just down from my thumb. Would you think it would look okay? :innocent: ^_^

I totally made up my mind on what I'm getting. I'm getting a full back tattoo of the church on the island of Kizhi. I'm not a religious person at all, but I find Russian Church architecture to be beautiful. Then, below the church its going to be weeds and long grass with animals like foxes and bunnies. The whole tattoo isn't going to be a realistic tattoo, but more cartoony.

I want to get it by the tattoo artist Jesse Smith, but it could take some time because he is located on the West Coast (I'm in the midwest), it costs over 6,500 and the waiting list is a year long.

This is a piece of Jesse Smith's work...it's absolutely breath taking in my opinion.

I have a small star outline on my left forearm. And I don't regret getting it. Go for it!
