Tattoos

I just came across this peacock feather tattoo. I love the coloring so much but I would never put something like this on my foot. I think it would better on the ribs or shoulder.

Oh geez. How is that going to look when your kid walks in on you?

"Mommy, what's that?"

"That is a reminder of a horrible drunken night."

 Yes I've never gotten joke tattoos.. but I suppose they have to fit the person's personality. One I've seen recently is a man with a 6 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon tattooed in the place of an actual six pack. haha

My boyfriend has a tattoo along the top of his pelvis that says "Bringin' sexy back"

It fits his personality because he is silly and doesnt take things too seriously. He thinks I should get a funny lyric tattoo as well because I keep debating what I want. He wants me to get "I just wanna dance with my shirt off" because its a line in my favourite song & he thinks it would be hilarious.

I've always described piercings that way. Also for piercings there's more of a before and after, less of a during. But that depends on what you're getting done. There was one I thought would never end!

But it's the thrill of saying you're gonna get it done, working the courage to get your butt to the parlor and paying for it, so there's no turning back. There's definitely an adrenaline rush and the feeling of accomplishment afterwards. :D

I totally agree with this, a huge part of the whole experience of tattoo's/piercings is the build up of actually getting it done. During doesn't really register with me, but before it's the excitement and after it's pride of managing not to cry (i'm not good with pain!)

^i personally never plan my tattoos...all 3 of mine were done spontaniously...i woke up in the morning and thought 'okay i think im gonna go and get a tattoo' (the day has to have a meaning for me though, usually someones birthday)

and i love the peacock feather tattoo...i have a thing for peacock feathers at the moment

^wow! the flowers look beautiful and so does the handwriting! :woot:

is it very painful to get a tattoo on the wrist?

^ Thank you! :)

I got one on my upper back Saturday also. It hardly hurt on my back but it was a little sensitive on the wrist, not really painful though.

The tattooist said I have a wonderful skin for tattoos, that it was like butter under the needle.

^ I just pretended I was asleep.

No, I did not say anything because I really did not know what to say...

Diorette! I love it! But now I want to see the other one! And one question: How many tattoos does Cat McNeil have compared to Freja?
