i got a butterfly-woman tattoo on my last (24th) birthday as a gift to myself,.

it was definately customized by me. it was supposed to symbolize me at that time in my life. i had just started to work full time and had money to spare. so the butterfly woman was to symbolize "fly away/take off with your life now" kind of thing.
I am seriously considering getting another one done soon. But this tinme in a private place.

I would like a small one on my feet, but since I'm terrified of needles that might give some problems .

Does anyone have experience with tatoos on feet, and does it hurt much?

^ foot is one of the more painful spots to get it into...not much fat so you're gonna feel it on the bone.

Yeh sorry it is. So many people and celebs have them. Plus would you really want that on your back when your 50?

^ true celebs have it, but fashionicon if you like it and its something special to you then get it. Thats what I stress to everyone each time, think about the tattoo and if its something you love do what you please with your body, just remember this is forever. Sure theres removal now, but who really wants to go through the pain of a tattoo just to painfully remove it when you could have avoided it by taking time to think about your ink? Let

I've 5 tattoos, I love them but I think that too much is just too much!!mine are all black no color I don't like colored tattoos, I've a small dragon on my left chest, a chinese sign on my right wrist, playboy bunny on my right shoulder, a little fairy on my left ankle, and the bigger I've is on my lower beck that it's some ivy with this script "My way"...I think that I'll have some stars on my right foot soon!

My idea is to get a tattoo on my inner lip saying: Freedom.
I know it sounds quite weird but I love the idea that you can't see it but I know I have it. And even if I'm a situation in which I feel like "in a cage" I can still feel the "freedom" inside. ahahah sounds funny

Well the artist did it fairly clean, but its a tattoo that can gewt messed up easily. You can look at www.bmezine.com and theres a picture archive of them and you can see the difference when it comes to the artist.

i got my tat on my lower back when i turned 18. i still love it to this day--even though it hurt worse than childbirth (figurativley) and part of it is a little messed up, since i got an infection that put a right lovely scar across part of the design. but, it's still totally me.

i have two: an outline of a (small) flame on my inner wrist that i LOVE. PERFECT place for a tattoo if you are concerned about professional life (just cover with bracelets, etc)... it really didn't hurt at all either, unlike:

i have a second on my lower back (da ding!) that says "who is john galt?" in my handwriting. now understand that at age 21 this meant something to me. or more than it does now. now i just get skeezy people asking me about it when it slips out.

i'm thinking about getting it removed - advice? (it's all black ink, about 4" wide) thanks

Anyway, the kind of tattoo you want to remove is really the kind of tattoos that people don´t want after some years- in my opinion.

And that happens because people think that they are very funny or meaningful because they were teenagers or passing some state and then, like most things in life, don´t really mean that much or are that much funny as you get older...
