to be honest... if you hadn´t told me what it is, i didn´t knew it... but i like the idea behind the tattoo. what symbol was there?

Aaaagh, all that dense black on the wrist must have killed! Very clever idea for a cover-up though. How retro of you...RIP polaroid cameras:( I'm thinking of getting a tattoo in the same place, and now I will deliberate even more carefully, as my body can't handle the pain of such a cover-up:)

Fairy, I want to see too, pretty please.

I want to get "this too shall pass" on the side of my hip or down the side of my back. I'd like to get it in a foreign language but the only one I speak is spanish, which isn't the most attractive written out. French or Italian, I think, would be more visually pleasing but I'd feel like a hypocrite for having it in a lanuage I don't even speak!

But all three are Latin-alphabet languages; I don't see significant visual differences between them. Perhaps choose a nice font? I went to an exhibition on Goya recently and some of the etchings in Spanish were beautiful. I'm not sure what the font was and if it was specific to the Spanish language, but it was visually stunning.

Would it be "esto tambien pasara"? What I don't like is all the accents that are needed on tambien and pasara.

I believe that either you should get a tattoo that reminds you of something good, or a tattoo that means nothing at all.
Are you serious about getting it removed?

i think ive built the thought up in my head so much that maybe i was over-reacting to it. it does remind me of fun times afterall ^_^
i have looked into removal for a while, but have never gotten round to it.

How serendipitous that I should be the first to comment. It's healed beautifully, are you pleased with the result? I especially like how the petals fluttering around the branch add movement.

yeah that was exactly what I wanted. the tattoo-artist first only made the branch but i asked him to add some petals to make it look a bit windy...lol
but it´s exactly how i wanted it. also the placement was my idea. it´s kinda around my shoulder blade.

oh wings, thanks for posting another pic...its so beautiful, i already told u!
