Teach me your language I teach you mine

Yeah, it's the first page of a weekly online magazine about Madrid's culture and stuff...
So basically, the sentence doesn't make sense when you don't see the whole picture?

yup, sorry, I was completely distracted the first time I read it and didnt' even notice...but yeah, it's cause the page is tellign a little story about encounters on the subway platform and what a guy and girl are really thinking about each other, so the last line ties into it all...

Could someone translate this into Spanish?

Mirror...
She looks across.
Starring.
Wondering.
Wanting to be perfect, wanting to be beautiful.
I see her eyes swell with tears.
The taunts, the jokes,
Her soul gone.
Nothing left but an empty core.
Isolated and cold.
Around beauty her life crumbled.
She forgot how to love,
How to enjoy and wonder,
How to be happy.
I stare at her, my reflection meeting hers.

Espejo...
Ella mira a través.
Mirando fijamente.

i tried :lol: i'm sure another tFSer will translate this better, mine's crappy ¬¬
oh and the part in red, i dunno what wonder means there.. as in wonder like question or wonder as in seven world wonders, you know..:lol:

:woot: Thanks Stersita!!!
I think they mean wonder as in question, preguntar means 'to ask' right?

hmm, I can't give you karma, but thanks a lot for translating:D!!

your welcomed :bounce:  and yeah preguntar means to ask.. so maybe preguntarse (ask herself) would be better there.. :ermm: hmm, you choose

I've always wondered...how far is a block? Do they just mean a building, or does it represent a set distance?
