Maybe stersita has gone to see R-G in Czechia and they're both having fun with litres of Becherovka! :woot:

haha I wish :lol: But the truth is I've been really busy with school work.. I may give the wrong impression here but I'm actually quite a responsible student.. :blush: (a bit procrastinator though).

I'm just sneaking here cause it's Friday but I have to go again.. :( I will come when I have time though :shifty:

It actually wasn't an essay, it was my igcse coursework, and I did 40 pages :lol: because I want my A :ninja: I've been surviving on caffeine this past week you see.. :lol:

oh and i wanted to thank you all for caring, its really sweet :blush:

trueblue, my parents, who are brasilian but have lived in the US for about 20 years and speak perfect english, cannot see a movie with heavy british, scottish, or irish accents. They always say, if there aren't subtitles, for them it's pointless to even go!

p.s. where in the world is stersita these days??

Whenever they show a Scottish film down in England, they have to put subtitles on it:rolleyes: :lol:

a :kiss: for you too ^_^ i'm so pissed mundo isn't here, i wanted to talk with you dork :( oh well i'll now have to wait :cry: bye bye :cry:

:lol: mundo must probably be catching up with sleep after she's spent many energies recruiting votes for Cintia in MC3 quarterfinals...:rofl: :flower:

p.s.
Ciao stersita, come back soon!!! :winkiss: :flower:

Im back :woot: But I havent really learnt much....but I know the word "voglio" is "I like..." in Italian...well I think it is :unsure:

^^ :lol: actually, it means "I want" ;)

p.s.
"to like" is "piacere" in italian, but it's usually a bit difficult for english-speakers, as our construction is different...trying to explain it, it's as if you'd say in english:

not ---> I like tFS

but ---> tFS "likes" to me

So in italian "I like tFS" would be: ---> Mi piace tFS ("mi" means "to me")

;)

Oh yeah, it is I want :rofl:

I have the sheet next to me, looks like I copied it down right, but remembered it wrong :rofl:

eu adoro tfs!! eu amo tfs!!

(and I wasn't catching up with sleep, but rather with work....oh how eu detesto trabalhar...and I can't believe I missed stersita :cry:)

^ mundo but you also have the same construction in portuguese as well:

"me gosta tFS" ...right? :unsure: (though iirc you can also say "Você gosta de tFS" i.e., right? :unsure:)

Ive got a Learn Russian in 6 weeks book :woot:

And Pashen'ka...are these right in Italian?

fashion = moda
how much is = quanto costa
pattern = motivo
elegant = elegante
shoe = scarpa
designer = disegnatore
winter = inverno
summer = estate
collection = collezione
advert = annuncio
advertise = fare pubblicita
campaign = campagna
handbag = borsa
handmade = fatto a mano
magazine = rivista
model = modello
courtesy = coutesia

no, me gosta is like a spanishfication of portugues (me gusta would be the spanish way...), in portugues if you want to use gostar, it would be like "eu gosto de tfs"....the question posted is correct, "voce gosta de tfs?"

Good luck! ^_^ (but imho it will take some more, russian grammar is diabolical, you'll see...:p )

All correct except:

designer = stilista

advertise = fare pubblicità

model = modello (male) / modella (female)

courtesy = cortesia (I'm not sure I remember what does "courtesy" mean when fashion-related though...:unsure: )

cover = copertina

My italian fashion vocabulary :brows::rofl:
Groovy, yeah! :D
