Teen Books

Twilight & New Moon by Stephenie Meyer

Aren't you in love with Edward and Bella? I am, definitely.

If they make the movie I can only see Henry Cavill playing him. As for Bella... either Emily Browning or Danielle Panabaker, I haven't decided which. :P

^ Oh, I liked that book a lot. (Although her writing style isn't the most... uhm, complex one)

I loved the Louise Rennison books with Georgia... and also the Shopoholic series by Sophie Kinsella. I have read one Gossip Girl but can't remember it. I recommend Louise Rennison though

Very true, but her writing style aside, the characters are perfect. Totally brought me back to Buffy, which I loved.

SISTERHOOD of Traveling Pants!!!

Sweet Valley.

But I don't read alot of teen books.

Oh, and also the Fearless series by Francine Pascal. I still love that series.

i gave up on most of the 'gossip girls' and 'the a-list' type of teen books in grade 11..not that i was really into it to start with. but....i still think sarah manning's books are cute and funny...it has brit-wit which american books dont have.
my friend made me read shopaholic...and ugh. chick-lites...ugh.

i like 'as simple as snow' by Gregory Galloway was pretty good...i enjoyed it alot.

Art Geeks and Prom Queens. My cousin gave it to me to read it and I finished it in a day.

OMG! It's my 2000th post! Wow!

I would laugh so much to her books....it was completely uncool to guffaw like that, but man did I love those books. So light and frivolous and hilarious

Wow, that sounds so cute and trashy. I'm going to look that up on amazon.

Anyone here ever read Walk Two Moons? or was it Walk to Moons? i read that like 7 or some years ago and i still remember it was reallyyyyyyy good.

^yea i remeber reading it in 7th grade...its Walk Two Moons

I've bought Rosie Dunne by Cecilia Ahern today. But I think that's more chick lit than teen fiction really. I love Cecilia Ahern's books though. alix* :smile:heart:smile: suggested PS. I Love You to me and its one of the best books I've read all year!

Fringe Girl by Valerie Frankel.
Meri Strikes Back by M. Apostolina.
Beautiful Disaster: Fast Girls, Hot Boys Series by Kylie Adams.
The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan.
2Gether 4Ever: Notes of a Junior High School Heartthrob by Dene Larson.

I'm reading the Tenth Circle by Jodie Picoult (sp?) and it's pretty good. Not really teen fiction though, but probably... young adult literature? I have no idea. Still, I'm really loving it.

I read The It Girl 1 & 2 by Cecily von Ziegesar when I was on holidays last week, and I must admit I loved them  I actually prefer them to the Gossip Girl series.

^^ I've read 1, 2, 3. Really good. I just can't stand Jenny. I didn't like her in Gossip Girl either. I love Tinsley, Brett and Callie though.

I started reading the Gossip Girl series on a dare, and snuck back in to get the second one. I haven't read anymore though.
I will say, though, I did enjoy the novel Prep. From looking at the title I had all of these expectations of it, yet I was surprised at how good it was. Has anyone else read it?

I read Gossip Girl in high school...I think I got up to around book 6 or so
When I was younger (like elementary/middle school:(
Sweet Valley Twins & Sweet Valley High
The Babysitters' Club
