Teen Vogue February 2006: Gemma Ward

her outstretched arm on the cover looks horrible. so boney, they should have picked another shot

i also dont like that they did this in a teen magazine. the girls who read these are usually middle school aged, its not the best impression to put on them

Yeah it might be too much Gemma, but who cares? I'm buying it!

Most of the people I know that read Teen Vogue are around my age, but even then its not anyworse than having a slim actress on there either way. And having Lindsay Lohan who is a major coke head on the cover isnt bad?

Either way, its a great thing going on for Gemma, the editorials fun, perfect for that demographic.

i cant wait to get the magazine even tho im not exactly a fan of gemma!

but i dont think that middle school aged girls buy teen vogue. most of them are still buying seventeen mag etc.

There's an outtake from Sienna's Vogue shoot in it, I posted it in the Sienna thread.

i'll sure get my hands on a copie of this issue. I think she looks really natural and cute.

Could someone please scan the pages of Drielle from this magazine please?

this is slightly off-topic but I have noticed that people critisize modelling business cause it's introducing new girls non-stop and really just that there is no new supermodel material type of girls out there, celebrieties are taking models places because models have come so boring when it comes to personality, masses don't know the models ...and the list goes on. But then again people are so bored because some girl has actually done very well and is everywhere for what is considered a long time. This is what supermodels are about..longevity (sp?), exposion etc. Gemma is being introduced to masses..

whatever.

And yet....she's the first model to my knowledge to get the cover of an American major (Vogue,Allure,Teen Vogue) CN production since October 2002 (Christy T, Vogue).
No, Liya got the May 2005 cover of American Vogue.

The cover is cute. She looks like a normal girl in the magazine.

:innocent: o O (Gemma is a victim of over exposed too soon too fast. What goes up must come down just as fast...)
