iluvjeisa, thankies for compiling this but how did you rank them? by the number of campaigns, then by shows, covers and editorials? in that order, a different order or a mixture? cos where's diana dondoe? heather marks is on the list and doesn't have any campaigns, editorials or covers to her name either.

and about important shows, perhaps Lanvin, Gaultier, Givenchy and Roberto Cavalli could be added to the list

Ok, so irresistable_loz started the list and requested everyone put in their opinions. I had a few - so I tried to merge the list with a few alterations that I wanted to make - putting Eugenia, Vlada and Jeisa on the list. I don't agree with the list myself as it is. I want Anja higher up, Jessica Stam and Valentina further down. And I want Snejana and Diana Dondoe on the list.

The first place to start is to agree on what counts on their CVs. What shows are important, what editorials and covers are important etc. That's a way to introduce a bit of objectivity anyway.

Ok heres some guidelines that may help

1. Show appearances
- Opening and closing ads 'points'
-Amount of shows
-Appearances on major shows----which can include:

Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, Balenciaga, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Chloe, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, Gucci, Givenchy, Hermes, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, MaxMara, Michael Kors, Missoni, Miu Miu, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Rochas, Valentino, Vera Wang, Versace, YSL Rive Gauche, Zac Posen (35)

If I have missed a major, please add... but I think I have most of them there.

2. Campaigns
-These can include fashion and cosmetics campaigns
-Can be from current ads and previous season (so at the moment FW05 and previous SS05)
-Major cosmetics would be - Maybelline, Cover Girl, Loreal, Max Factor etc. and fashion label cosmetic brands like Chanel and Dior.
-Major Fashion campaigns... any for the above designers listed for shows.^

3. Covers
-Vogues- bigger ones would be US, UK, Italia and Paris, however any others may be included
-ID
-Harpers
-Pop
-Numero
And these would be from the previous 6 months.

4. Editorials
-From any of the above magazines in the previous six months. One girl editorials is obviously better, and the high exposure vogue shoots as well (Us, Uk etc.)

Does anyone actually have a noumber of how many shows each girl (or each top model) has done this season? I remember there was a thread about that for FW 05.

I think that, Hye should be on the list! She has DnG and Roberto Cavalli campaigns and also walked for TONS of shows for the past year. Cintia D and Natalia V should be there too.

Cintia walked a whole lot of runways in NYFW, but she skipped London and did only a few in Milan...she also has the H&M campaign, but that's about it? So no, compared to the list right now, she might not be on par with any of them yet ^^

Although I would really love her to do more!!
