Yessss!!!!

Beyonce – The dress beautifully airy and flair-y, and a breath of fresh air NOT seeing skintight on Beyonce… Congratulations my girl!

Cate Blanchett – Sheer elegance, perfectly matching jewelry, everything right!

Catherine Deneuve – It is very simple: either you have it, either you don’t. And she so much has it…

Celine Dion – A dress different from the rest, a great colour on her, and the diamond brooch on the hip to die for! No to the gold purse though…

Helen Mirren – Incredible Lacroix, it made the Queen so elegant and glowing!

Jennifer Lopez – A unique dress, great hair, great makeup. She looked like a true diva!

Kate Winslet – Excellent choice, incredibly chic and very flattering on her frame and colours. A bit of a faux pas on the turtle-like purse…

Portia de Rossi – She looked gorgeous, but I didn’t appreciate the hairstyle

Penelope Cruz – As far as I am concerned, the best dressed of the event! And the way she moved in that dress… The colour, very difficult to pull on virtually everybody, made her face look brighter and warmer at the same time. Excellent hair, simply THE choice with such a busy dress and on top of it all, the Chopard diamonds…

Reese Witherspoon – Very becoming choice of dress and colour. I wasn’t dazzled, but I cannot find fault

Rinko Kikuchi – If this is not the definition of sur mesure, I don’t know what is. Simply stunning!

Nearly there…

Emily Blunt – Almost a yes, but a tad too shiny

Naomi Watts – I liked the pale yellow against her hair and complexion, I liked her 30’s hairstyle, but not the sleeves…

Meryl Streep – Credit for her because the Devil wore Prada!

No, no, no, no, no

Anne Hathaway – Time traveller from Dynasty??!!

Cameron Diaz – Looking like a tacky bride, with seriously bad hair and wrong shade of orange on the face

Eva Green – Messy dress, messy hair, a mess of makeup

Gwyneth Paltrow – The dress was interesting, but the colour, oh my… virtually looked like XXXX (four letter word)

Jennifer Hudson – Enough said

Jessica Biel – The Oscar bunny?

Jodie Foster – Yawn…..

Kelly Preston – Jungle fever??

Kirsten Dunst – The dress, divine on the runway, looking like a rag on Ms. Dunst. And she should definitely do something with her front teeth very soon, such a natural beauty cannot keep smiling like a vampire

Maggie Gyllenhaal – Non, non et non to black and navy – and what was that tresse finishing??? (which she had to put on the hair too??!!!)

Nicole Kidman – With her figure, it was an accomplishment to look so bad overall. No to fire red (with a Christmas present bow) against a marble face (and shiny marble too)

Rachel Weisz – Incredibly poor fitting gown – bumpy on the waist line and at least a size smaller on the bosom

just my two cents:)

cate blanchette always always takes the cake for pure, unadulterated elegance!
penelope ditto for the essence of Hollywood glamour with enough latin fire to keep it interesting - who but she could sashay up to the podium lookng like a flamenca goddess?
reese has great taste - gorgeous dress!
cameron looked like she'd borrowed a space suit, slit it up the front and was waiting for take off - what on earth was she thinking?
nicole appeared to have untied the bow from a chocolate box and wrapped herself in it at the last min ala scarlet and her curtains (pity she didn't wrap up the extensions too) i usually love her choices but last night....
helen mirren was just divine - not that i was crazy about the dress, but she wore it as opposed to the myriad dresses that were wearing their occupants! lol
diane keaton! diane keaton! she was just stunning!!

Noone looked 'show-stopping' this year, some looked very good but IMO noone looked amazingly great.
