I supposed this thread is not all about the fashion, so I wanted to post these articles. They are very interesting indeed. Why Crash won over BBM is the main theme.

This one is pro- Crash and pro- BBM though the author thinks it's ridiculous to attack Crash and bash BBM. As many of the members in here, the authour was happy about any of the two winning yesterday.

This about about Hollywood puritanism. I agree about "Dawin's nightmare" "Paraside Now" "BBM" not winning.

That's why I love Roger Ebert  I read that yesterday and gave him two thumbs up

Okay I'm so sorry to be a pain but I've totally lost the designer list you guys created from all the dresses. I'd really love to see that list again if someone could find it? I went through the past 6 pages and nothing. Also, I searched the words "Updated", then "Designer", then "List" and didn't find it!

I think something is seriously wrong with that search function.

Please help!

Falling asleep?!?! With her hyper-I'm-on-helium-shoot-me-now speech I wanted to run away to a room with padded walls not fall asleep. Or better yet, put her in said room. I cannot stand her cute southern act. She honestly makes me feel all Mark David Chapman.

George Clooney showed everyone how to give a great acceptance speech. By acting sincere. S-I-N-C-E-R-E: hear that Reese?

Best Dress Designs
Diane Kruger
Maggie Gyllenhaal
Amy Adams (I think) I have forgotten everyone else now.

Best Dress Colours
Michelle Williams
J.Lo
Jessica Alba

I wish someone like Bjork or Angelina had been there to liven up proceedings.

Keira Knightly looked soooo bad.... her dress looked like those sold in the Debenham’s bridal department… horrible material, horrible design, horrible colour… (personal note: I hate how she always looks either angry and ready to snap at you, or with a constant pout on her face…. )Bad hairdo too…

Sandra Bullock and Reese Witherspoon would not be able to look glam to save their lives... sorry...they look too much like middleclass housewives...

Oh! I greatly miss Cate Blanchette… (just a personal favourite)

Have to agree with all this Melt, even though I thought the colour of Keira's dress was absolutely beautiful for her skin tone. The material and design WERE straight out of Debenhams.

Cate is always beautiful but I hated the yellow dress she wore last year. It was too Hollywood and too satiny. Just like Keira's this year. Every other year she has been divine though
