I just saw the most touching thing!
In the 50km walk, there was a bunch of guys together. An Italian bloke was closer to the people with the drink bottles than the Aussie when they were moving down the straight, so he grabbed a drink for himself then another one and passed it on to his opponent! Otherwise he wouldn't have got a drink! How sweet!

I told my mum and she said she heard that in another race (she wasn't sure which one) the guy who was coming first had a drink and knew that the person behind him hadn't got one and it was their last drink of the race, so he took a sip and then passed it back to the other runner! Now that's sportsmanship..

the eight minute of london wasnt as what i pictured.the performance kind of bored me.and i think leona lewis and david beckham could have done so much better.they just missed the point.

Actually, i don't get the whole Leona thing, i thought there would have someone who can represent England better than her? don't get me wrong, i do like her, but she is not that iconic enough.

Yea,it was weird to me that they didn't choose someone who's more famous,but I think she did really great job and love how she sang Whole Lotta Love.

simply amazing (not as good as the opening though!)...the athletes must have been able to take some amazing photos from the ground. I didn't like the song with 7-8 ladies though...booooring...and the little kids smiling? sorry but cringeworthy! (my parents loved it though...so maybe cultural difference )

I liked the London intro animation, and the bus...but honestly I gotta say it paled next to the amazing tower thingy that revealed the Olympics symbol. And I love Leona...but REALLY?

...also loved the black umbrellas hehe...

I hate the pop stars singing sequences... I don't even remember who' were on there except a girl wearing Dolce & Gabbana belt and Kelly Chen.

The extinguishing of the torch was less impressive than I thought it would be, but still good. I really like the silver/red dancers part, especially when they turned into a giant BJ Olympics symbol.

China did exceptionally well this time! And 51 golds!
