i was watching some interview w/david
& victoria was it the backgrnd with her hair stuck to her lipgloss
trying to flick it off ! eventually she turned arnd !

i saw that intervoew to (david and his usual words of wisdom) but victoria and the back was far more distracting- i assumed she was looking around and making sure she covered all the camera angles, but thinking about it's more likely a failed hairflip- much more her style- hillarious
really what is the point of this women?

I'm glad London got it. I liked that they used a lot of athletes in their "presentation" or bid, or whatever you called it. From a blurb I heard about Paris, they used Catherine Deneuve and some singer.... I couldn't understand what that had to do with the Olympics.

Anyway, not that it made much difference, but I bet people in Paris are blaming this on Chriac's comment on English food. He also said the only place that makes worse food is Finland. And there were two Finnish judges (or voters, whatever) on the IOC. I'm sure that made no or very little difference, but still... Not a diplomatic move there Chirac.

The vote was 54 to 50, if I'm not wrong. If Paris had gotten those 2 votes instead it would've been a tie.

LOL! Agree with that! There is no point to Victoria other than being David's wife.

But I am so happy London got it! Really didn't think we would!

Chirac's anti-Finnish comments might have swung it for us! I believe Finland cast 2 of the votes for us.

It would've been alright to have to olympics here in NY... but that stupid stadium... you wouldn't be able to get anywhere... it would've messed up the Westside Highway...

Maybe they can have the olympics in Jersey City.
