^ Ah!! It's very long (especially considering you seem to be not at all height-challenged ) ... more of a coatigan! Nice for the cold weather ... I am still adjusting, and right now I cannot get enough of flannel, sweaters, and fleece. Last night I changed my sheets to the cotton jersey ones ... they are so cozy
I saw someone else wearing my Patagonia jacket (I have it pinned) for the first time ... a woman several decades older than me at a Thai restaurant. I was wearing mine too. Looking at it on her I concluded it really does look fantastic for the price ... still very pleased with my purchase.
^The higher the better imo. :cool2: I'm 5'9/180cm. And with heels higher than my hubby.
I'm also in the mood of warm items. It's nice to snuggle with colder weather coming in.
Happy your jacket is working out so nicely!
How nice to see you Nymphaea! I love the "vest" outfit too. How lucky you are to have the height to wear a long sweater like that without looking like a little troll.
I promised to post a picture of my new years/Christmas outfit I don't really feel like it reflects my style anymore, but I want to wear all of my dressy dresses to an event before I give them away. I feel like there is no connection between my casual and dressy style. I am hoping to gradually replace my dressy dresses with simpler cuts. I don't actually own a single black evening dress atm...
I wore:
- Noa Noa emerald green pleated dress with bell sleeves (January 2014)
- Michael Michael Kors Nude pumps (May 2013)
- Vintage gold mesh clutch (May 2014)
Picture is my own
Also, I do realize I just look like a mop of hair, but I promise there is usually a face amongst all the hair
^But a very nice looking mop I wouldn't use for mopping around. Great outfit imo, very soft looking. By the way love your hair! Mine is as straight as hell. ink:
I noticed I'm doing something unusual today ... wearing all new clothes! My shoes arrived yesterday, and I'm wearing them with my new sweater (with intarsia tie) and jeans.
Okay, so I tried to take a picture of me wearing my new scarf, but I feel like I failed. The light outside is so blue that all the colors get distorted in the pictures... I tried to fix it, but it didn't quite work. For reference, the stone tiles are really a warm beige/brown shade...
I realize I am wearing pretty much the same as I did the last time I posted an outfit picture, but I tend to repeat outfits a lot...
Feeling very Scandinavian today and definitely more sporty than usual, so I took a picture. I got a pair of Nike Air Max Thea sneakers for my birthday, and was very surprised at how 'me' they felt. So this is my scandi-monochrome-sporty-look.
* White button-down shirt - Uniqlo (beneath the coat)
* Long black cotton knit cardigan - H&M (also beneath the coat)
* Black jeans - Diesel
* Black and white sneakers - Nike
* Black wool coat - Zara
* Grey cashmere scarf - Close to my heart
* Wool hat - homemade
* Tan leather tote
^Great outfit! I'm beginning to get used to the idea that sneakers can look great with a more conservative outfit. The other day I saw a woman with a great short fur jacket and black jeans with sneakers and she looked awesome. I always had the assumption that sneakers make you look VERY sporty, but it's the combination with the rest that makes the look.
