The 4-5 piece French wardrobe combinations thread

^I really love those two rings together in the last pic. Would you mind sharing where you got them? I have a feeling they might be old/vintage...:( which is bad news for me, because I want them!

People keeps asking me that! Unfortunately the gold ring is my mothers weddingring from her marriage with my father, and the silver ring is one I've made myself. But I bet you would be able to find something similar

I felt like posting a picture of what I have been wearing lately. I am not adventurous with color, but I have found inspiration in combining different patterns. I have aquired a new grey paisley scarf, because the burgundy one was such a success in my wardobe.

I cannot give you karma, but this outfit looks so nice!

I agree with betina, great outfit eizhowa. I really like how you mix stripes and paisley, it brings some life to the outfit.

Here you can see the outfit I wore on Halloween (and you can see someone else had the same idea to get out of wearing a costume!). The coral top with ruffles is from many years ago. 3/4 sleeve sweater, same thing ... I bought it sometime around 2006-2008. The pants are the wool St John from last year, and then the two-tone oxfords I bought ... 2 years ago??

@Ta-ta and eizhowa: Both so mysterious! :ninja: I like what I can see of your outfits though!

I'll see if I can post an outfit as well this weekend, also without face. Faces are overrated. :innocent:

Well, I am all for mysterious! Here is my contribution (really just pimping my scarf again, which it's still kind of too warm to wear). Apart from the scarf, I was wearing this outfit back in September too - I can't believe I am wearing a 3/4 sleeve top and thin blazer in November.

Now you're up, Fewormany and Nymphaea. :P

^Ohhhh... Which Saint james top are you wearing? It looks quite fitted, which is what I want in my next one.

I am atually in my winter coat already... So what I am going to wear once it gets really cold is beyond me. I have sort of accepted that my aestetics can't be combined with comfort when it gets really cold:(

Yeah, Fewormany and Nymphaea, you are up:judge::lol:

At the moment I'm wearing my loungewear sweats (grey, tapered with elastic at the bottom and leaf print) and an oversized grey sweater. Not the kind of outfit for a first picture post.

Haha, no pressure. ^

Eizhowa, where in the country are you? Are we the only ones having such mild weather? I wore my winter coat for a few days, but I had to wear it open, and definitely no scarf. I gave up and went back to jackets. I guess I spoke too soon about not needing an in-between coat just yet.

I don't think I've ever experienced it getting so cold here that I needed anything more than my wool winter coat, though.

And it's the Galathé from Saint James. It is quite fitted, with 3/4 sleeves. I really like it and have worn it a lot since I got it just a few months ago, but for my next one I'd like a slightly looser fitting one. :P

^Stavanger. But I can't tolerate the cold at all. The wind goes straight through all my clothes.

I was going to move to Trondheim, but I can't do snow and ice:lol: I refuse to buy "practical" shoes... It was easier to just choose another degree:wink:

Haha, that's perfectly reasonable!

I'm guessing we have similar temperatures and wind conditions, so I don't know what's wrong with me. I tend to freeze easily too, but more when I am inside than outside, weirdly.

Here I am! :woot: :P
I'm wearing:
- Acne Raya cardigan
- J Crew Perfect-fit long-sleeve tee
- Paige jeans
- Miu Miu flats
And on the other two G-Star Whistler Slim jacket and Burberry trench coat.
