Haha, I love pineapples, too, but I find them annoying to cut and slice! Silk pineapple milk... lol, that would be interesting for sure! But yeah, it's way better to get vitamin c from foods, and I do eat fruits and veggies containing it, but I wanted to get a lot to really optimize healing and such.

you cut off the top part, the leavy part first, then the sides, four sides if you can, and then you turn it sideways and cut off the ending, and you slice it how ever you want and put it in a bowl and cover it with saran wrap and it keeps for a week ! but you can get frozen pineapple chunks which are really really good aswell and way better than canned or jarred varieties, frozen surprisingly is just about as good as frozen.

=]

if you have any problem, just google " how to cut pineapple " haha.

.....thats how i learned how hahaa.

and all you have to do is google " foods high in vitamin _ " and they'll give you a list, or google " list of super foods " what ever you want, just google it and it usually gives a list or two.

has anyone tried a treatment called Isolaze? I had one session and I experienced fantastic results. Its almost painless.

Lol, thanks. I already know how to cut a pineapple, I was just saying the process of it is kind of tedious. xD

mousquerader I'm so pleased to hear that your skin is a lot better and you seem very happy!

Anyone heard of Vitex? It's called Chasteberry or Agnus Castus too.

It's a natural pill that helps regulate your hormones, lots of women take it when weaning off the birth control pill. Seems interesting.

Does anybody here use St. Ives Apricot Scrub?

I remember reading that it worked good for alot of people and I'm thinking of buying some.
Also, would it be too harsh to use everyday? Thanks! :flower:

i remember using that when i was younger! loved the smell, but i found it a bit harsh and abrasive. I havent tried it for years tho so it may have changed, you shouldnt exfoliate your skin too often tho as you'll irritate it.

i heard it was good but in the long run damages your skin.

isnt it grinded nuts(think pointy crumbs) that just carves on your skin...

get queen helene julepe scrub at sallys beauty shop.

check makeupalley for product reviews.

Oh I just found a thread on St. Ives Apricot Scrub and alot of people hate it.
http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/f45/st-ives-apricot-scrub-good-evil-24499.html

Most people say it's way too harsh on your skin. I think I'd rather not scrub my face away with this stuff...

Ok, so does anyone have any recommendations for a gentle scrub I can use everyday/something I can buy at a CVS or other well known stores?

Thanks for the help guys! :flower:

Try Queen Helene's Oatmeal & Honey scrub. You can find it at any drugstore.

St Ives Scrub is okay in moderation I say. I have great results using it on the tops of my arms and chest area. I think home-made scrubs are easy to make

Ok I think I made up my mind lol! I'm gonna try out the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser.
It's pretty expensive, but I've read that it works great.
I'll post results as soon as I start using it! B)

Thanks for the help everyone, you're all very helpful! :flower:

I am taking so many supplements lately.
'Acne Relief' by Boots which is 30mg of Burdock Root, Blue Flag & Sarsaparilla Powder.
1g+ of vitamin B5 a day (high intakes are supposed to mimic accutane without the side effects)
Starflower Oil - regulates hormones.
Zinc+Vit C - Good for skin.
Omega 3 - good for skin & heart.

And I've just finished my detox of Milk Thistle Extract & Aloe Vera to remove toxins from blood and detox liver.

My skin is looking quite good, but that's mostly down to new antiobiotics & BP. I think the supplements help with healing though. Hmmm.

Boots acne relief? Hmmm I have never seen that, is it with the rest of the vitamins etc? How much was it?

I just look at my skin in natural light out of curiosity.

Bad BAD idea. I'm depressed now. This always seems to happen when I feel things are getting better.

Why oh why do some people have to deal with this while others don't? :(

im going to say it again, glycolic acid especially neostrata smoothing lotion!
