I think the ring bag is great, a refreshing change from the usual classic Balenciaga styles.
Are there other owners of the ring bag out there willing to provide a review?

I went to BNY today just to look at the bag.
They had a small brown/black one left. I liked the size and it's great, but the brown suede definitely got MANY scratches already. It looked very used although it was still in the store. I think that the black/navy will look better, but it didn't look like they had black/navy for the small style.
The big one is gorgeous and it's more like a doctor's bag. But it weighted a ton. It was too heavy for me to carry around especially after putting things inside.
So I passed.
A gorgeous bag, but I wish it was designed more practically (the suede issue)

i bought the brown/black one at neiman marcus...they only had one left that i could find...
and it wasn't terribly scratched...
i really love the shape of this bag...
there was a slew of bbags on sale, but they were either the hook style (they had the paisley fabric from s/s), the calf hair motos (brown calf hair with black leather trim and shiny silver hardware), or the flap over purse style...
they also had the large suede hobo with the embossed "B"...

caffeine...i also checked out the larger style, but it was definitely too big and too structured for everyday...
and i saw what you meant re:scratching...
a few of the larger black/black bags they had were scratched from being overly handled...

i had the sa call around to see if she could find me a black/black combo (they had this in the larger style) or black/navy (also only in the larger style in-store) and i'd exchange the one i have...
i'll post pics as soon...i was having issues downloading them onto my laptop...

Do any of you know if aloharag has stopped carrying Balenciagas? I was browsing their website today, and I noticed that Balenciaga is no longer in their designer index.

congratulations! Lucky you! the bag apparently looked nice right? Too bad the Barneys NY bag was in such bad shape. Yes please share a picture if you can

That bag reminds me of the Fendi B bag. I suppose its the color combo and the patent with leather. Its a beautiful bag. Congrats.

Hmmm. I see what you mean. Its not listed anymore. You use to have to email them for a list of what bags they had. But they don't even have the clothes listed anymore. Wonder whats going on?

i just got off the phone with barneys beverly hills, and they are cheaper there...
the sa said i should go back to neimans and ask for them to match the price, which i'm going to do tonight on my way home...
she also said there was a smaller version of the doctor frame bag, which is also 40% off, but they sold out...

I noticed that too! I spent some time navigating the site and was able to get to their Balenciaga list of bags. I can't remember where it was but it's there! I know for sure that they're still carrying them but you're right that they're not in the designer list (for women).

I sent them an email and the reponse I got was that they have sold most of their stock and are going come up with another way to show their collection.

It sounds like they are just updating the website. I hope they actually show the bags instead of having to email them to see what they have.

What do you guys think of this model....it is the Balenciaga "PURSE".
I believe it is an older model, but has been reintroduced for the '06 season?

I don't think i have ever seen this model on any celebrity...nor on the streets!!
