^^ how much smaller? Are you sure it's not the Part Time, that's quite a bit wider. I've never noticed a difference in the City sizes.

About an inch. I don't think it's Part Time. It's just a tad smaller in height than my 2006 S/S City.

I am starting to steer away from the balenciaga for some awkward reason. Shall I stick with getting the purple balenciaga or get a chanel classic? I know it’s a pro balenciaga thread but I am just a bit torn at the moment =(

If you really love the purple color I'd go with the balenciaga. You can always get a classic flap but a purple balen doesnt come around much. for the record I love chanel too so I'm not really biased!

aghhh u guys are making it tough on me.....i know...but the chanel that i am drooling over is the dark dirty tan flap with old grey chain ( the new chain without the leather) and the balenciaga is becoming overly exposed. Dunno...aghhhh GG u gotta point though

^Dulcisima, I just got my grape work with GGH yesterday.
I love Chanel too and have stayed away from Balenciaga for a year, but I most say the grape is a really magnificant colour.
I don't think you will regret getting grape this season...let me try and post some pictures soon and you'll see what I mean

I'm getting the violet Brief with GSH ... hopefully it will arrive Monday or Tuesday ;-)) I've stayed away from the GH till now but it looks Soooo good with the violet/purple I was swayed. I love so many of the new Chanel's, especially the Bubble Quilt in the dark white or beige but I got a metallic black reissue 227 & I'm becoming broke! On that theme... Chanel is, according to sources on tPF, going to have another Big price increase on Nov. 1st.. like $300+ a bag putting most all styles at a starting point of $2000. So if you want a Chanel now is the time to buy one!

I know the chanel bag that i want costs 1910 Euros!!! its the modern chain...i think its cavier leather not sure...gotta go and check again...its big too....i also want the grape balenciaga...Aghhh u guys are making it a tough call...i might have to get one more bag....i wanna see the one with the GGH...
