miz, does the color really look like that? All the other violets I've seen are darker and not as bright

Oh and guys i need your opinion, i want to buy 2 new bags (always city) but i don't know i always prefer the spring colours, so should i wait for the 2008 spring colours or should i buy now the ocean and the oatmeal???

It looks exactly like that. That's why I took the photos outside so you could really see the color. Thanks for the compliments everyone. Guess they really belong to Balenciaga for making this amazing color. All I did was have the good sense to purchase.

Violet is for Fall 2007.
The colour varies under different lighting conditions - it's bright, like Miz's pictures when it is in sunlight or it can be a very dark eggplant in dim lighting.

Oh, that purple is so beyond wonderful, I love seeing it with the regular hardware, it looks so beautiful! I was contemplating the purple, but all the pics I have seen have been with the GH, which I think makes the bags look disproportionately small and kinda weird. (and tacky) But yours is magnificent. Now I am totally jealous!

I sold my apple green weekender a few weeks ago in like 9 hours on ebay so I think it just depends on what people are looking for and what price they'd pay. It cost me around $90 to sell the bag w/ ebay fees and paypal fees and shipping so be sure to think about those costs when you sell your bag. You can search completed listings to see what price bags similar to yours have sold for.

victoria and kimair- thank you for your suggestions. I did check completed listings and no vert deau city sold from what I can see. Its okay for now, I think I may have a buyer.
kimair- I did check realdealcollection, shes a tpf member right? I checked her site, but I dont understand how much she takes as a fee..it says something about a rolling scale and how you get 70% of your final price, but I think its easier for me to sell it straight out, even with ebay/paypal fees I would get back more then 70% of final selling price.
I also want to list my juane day with giant gold hardware, but I think I might wait until the holidays get closer..ebay has been do deathly slow....

Now that I am done with my sister’s birthday gift, I am so excited its arriving tomorrow yellow work in regular hardware (and she still has no idea) she’ll flip when she sees it!
