they didnt have any of the juane with GH yesterday in paris..only regular...it didnt look good with it...but with ghh it looks gorgeous...they had purple everything..but somehow..it wasnt as striking to me...i guess i was turned off by the sheer number of ppl in the store stocking up on every color bag possible

UniqFashionista they had the yellow in regular hardware in paris? I am dieing to get it for my sister's upcoming birthday...

yes- they had it in both the balenciaga boutique in printemps- and in the george V boutique- I remember seeing a work and a brief..im sure they have other styles too

Wafaya, your yellow bag above looks way prettier in your lighting than mine looks in my lighting. Maybe it has something to do w/ the different hardware as well. I haven't used my bag yet and I think I'm going to exchange it.

victoria...i've heard that some of the colors are slightly different depending on if you get regular hardware vs. giant hardware...

I placed it by a window in daylight and I think that brings out the true color of the bag and i think the giant gold hardware reflects the "yellow" color and glows... Victoria98 I loved ur bag when I saw it but I say get the GGH.. it really suits the bag

as a general rule, there are color variations between each size. i think it depends which color lot it comes from. i have seen wide variations in several colors and leather textures in several different years including but limited to magenta, lavender, rose, and vert d'eau.

The color I always notice as having many variations is ink. It is a fairly chameleon color anyway, but you can put 2 side by side and 1 is purple, and the other is black.
I guess you just have to be extra careful, or picky.
I think that kind of adds to their special-ness, each one is almost unique, different color variation, veining, etc.

I really mean that b/c I'm not so great w/ seeing colors as their proper color and I'm relieved to know that the shades of the bags can vary. Maybe I'll just call and get a less orange one if they have it. This really does make me feel better.

Nero- Black
Vert Thyme/Salvia - Green (more on the sage side)
Bleu Electrique/Bluette/Bello - Electric Blue (similar to 07 french blue)
Sky Blue/Azurro (Sky Blue) - darker than 05 sky blue
Magenta/Fuxia/Ciclamino/Nuovo Bello - Magenta
Bubblegum/Rosa Bubble Gum - Pink/peach
Bianco - White
Sahara (Beige Sabbia) - Neutral Sand

You should def call and get the shade you want. I remember my twiggy rouge was a lot different than the city rouge that got sent back. The twiggy was deeper than the city which was more orangey. To your point, i prefer Wafaya's shade as well. Good luck!

Now...i'm itching for the jaune GH!!!!

^ Kimair..when will those colors start coming out? I want a electric blue envelope clutch and a magenta first.

I CANCELED my LE magenta with giant gold hardware...they said they have no idea on the status and dont know when they will be in. She said they are getting in a shipment tommorrow but doubts the magentas will be in there.. what crock. I cant believe I waited almost 6 months for the bags. I could have bought myself a different bag with that money. Now, Im going to get the J12 with either diamond bezel or J12 with diamond markers and a chanel bag.
