I have bought a black Work with regular hardware! Just it!
Maybe a little bit boring for some of you... but I love black bags!
I was planning to buy a City with giant gold hardware, but the gold was just too much for me, and too small... Love the size on the work!
Just had to share this with you...

and I totally agree with regarding black b-bags - they are so chic, cool, and iconic - everyone should have a black.

i think balck city is beeeautiful! i used to have the city in black but since i have my chanel cabas i black caviar i hardly use that city and sold it

a big black bag is a must on every girl's closet LOL it's like the little black dress of clothing

I have to stop visiting Barneys after work... Today I came home with a Grape giant clutch...it's really yummy!

I asked what else they had in Grape...I think it's a brief (large, rounded bottonm)..I'm not so good with all the styles... no firsts or cities, sorry!

i bought a sky blue first a few years ago and i realized that it was too small for me, i'm pretty tall and i dwarf it and it makes me look like a giant in turn, so i was thinking of removing the handles and carrying it as a giant clutch bag instead, which i think would give the look a different dinamic, plus big clutches are very au courrant, besides the fact that i always did love large clutch bags. What do u guys think of this idea? will it look good? be easy to do? not sure how to take off the handles though, any ideas? TIA

i was at saks today and they had a gorgeous large wallet / clutch with a wrist strap that was similar to this wallet:

they had it in the beige (grey?) like on that pic, and in black.

i want the black one sooooo bad...it was like the one on the pic but longer, with lots of card slots on the left hand side inside flap, with a mirror, and i think a zippered section, and a wristlette strap.

do any of you have any pics or info on this clutch?? i should've taken pics in saks but i couldn't get a chance to...you should've seen all the sa's swarming around

anyway, the clutch was $595 i think.....which is just way too much imo, i wouldnt pay over 600 for a wallet...but i don't think it's going anywhere since it's just been sitting there (I've been to saks several times & they're just sitting there) so maybe i can get a good deal on it on sale......

i just ordered that wallet in the pic (in black) from bal ny on monday, ale...
i think the larger one is $595 (that one is $495) and daphne said they didn't have any of the longer ones left...

i think some barneys got it, you might try calling them...

exotica...there's a jaune on one ebay right now for $695 i think...
i've seen people list them over $1000, but i wouldn't...
you can get a new one for less than that...

Kimair- yep..I saw haha thanks for the advice!! I definitely am NOT expecting to get what I paid..I think $700 shipped would be reasonable. ugh, I hate how things can depreciate so quickly LMFAO.

also, I got a violet first from my SA yesterday..FINALLY found one. purple is my all time fav color and Im glad she had one sitting in her stock room.

i've seen the beige/taupe long one on ebay...

i don't need to call barneys, the saks here has them and i can get one from them. my problem is just the price is too much, but it's not going anywhere so i can wait until it's on sale. no one obviously wants it here.

i was just wanting a pic for my own personal files since i couldn't snap pics in saks.

do you know the # of the ebay auction?

nevermind, i found it. this one does seem very similar but i swore the one in black at saks had more on the inside (a section on the right hand side w/a zipper), and a wrist strap! maybe i was dreaming that.

Was in Neimans the other day and they had a tomato city - absolutely beautiful color, but I'm looking for something lighter and a bit more pastel.
