jellylicious...ciao bella reported on tPF that balenciaga has decided to pull their line from saks and redistributing prior to f/w 08...
apparently some stores still have bbags, but from what i've read, the sa's aren't very knowledgeable about them...

the stores mentioned were naples, fl and greenwich, ct...

hello everybody. Hopefully somebody can help me here. There was a great blog on balenciaga bags started by some girl from hawaii. It had all the bal colours, leather and all moto. style. I also remember it closing down. Does anyone here know the adress so I can look it up on the wayback machine? I need it DESPERATELY. thanks

I find it so very sad that Balenciaga no longer have buttery soft leather on the bags, I am craving a black city or work, but touching them at Balenciaga....nah... the leather just felt so rough.

i'm totally into the 03-04-05 bags leather...

Hellu kimair. Are these ebay sellers or websites? I have not heard of them. It is hard buying bags unseen as well.. you never know how distressed it is etc. And is always that worry that it might be a fake.

I mean.. I went to Balenciaga this week thinking I would get a black bag in soft gorgeous leather..but they all looked like plastic..:/ umm.

I want a new bag, but I don't know where to look..

pucci, ny bal wont even send me bags this season, they just say, you won't like the leather... they have seen most of my bal collection... it shouldn't be that hard to find an older city or work in black on ebay...B)

Yes, I guess there is always eBay, but I am terrible at knowing what signs to look for so I know its real... so much stress, and I'm not sure over size either... work vs. city.

I want a bag for summer.. I am ready to spend but there is nothing out there to spend the money on!

both real deal collections and ann's fabulous finds are online consignment shops...
all of their bags are authentic, and they have layaway as well...
with real deal, you can give them a "wish list," and they will email you when a bag you're interested in becomes available...
i think real deal has better pics than ann's, but that's just me...

i don't buy anything from ebay without getting it authenticated first...

my bouton d'or first came from bal ny yesterday, but the leather was so dry and crackled...
i was thinking about what i wanted to do with it, and i went to neiman's here and they had one, but the leather was pretty much the same...
i was so disappointed, but back to bal ny it goes...
