I have been carrying one of my newest bags a lot b/c I want to break her in to see how much the leather will soften up and change in color. Here's me with my '09 Mandarin Courier. I just love this bag, orange is one of my favorite colors and rarely done so well with lots of variation from darker to lighter:

I have the strap set to the longest strap position. It would be possible to add more holes though if you wanted to wear it lower.

I went to Selfridges today (only very briefly as my friends think it's 'Out of their league' . . .)
I expected to go and see the Balenciaga handbags again but the special shelf they were on that had Balenciaga printed on a lightbox was taken over by Vivienne Westwood
I was rather upset.

I have to confess (and what more understanding place could there be?) that lately I can NOT seem to think about anything other than how desperately I want one of the make-up clutches. They're so gorgeous and the perfect size! ... If I only I didn't have to plunk down hundreds and hundreds of dollars on textbooks.

My New 08 Anthracite RH Work is here!!!!!

As I was racing out the door to catch a meeting at work today, I nearly tripped right over a Canada Xpress Post box....
I immediately stopped...work? What meeting? My new Balenciaga is here!!!!

Completely disregarding the time (remember...on my way out to a meeting..) I tore open the box and swapped bags!!
I could not keep my eyes off of all of that glorious Anthracite colored leather all day.....

Thank you Patricia and Constylement.com for my fabulous new 08 Anthracite RH Work... she is brand new and is absolutely lovely....

I will add more pics in a couple of days but here she is.......my very first WORK
