I saw that tri-color bag at aloha rag yesterday- really cool to see all the different colored leathers together. there was one with a little bit of turquoise popping out from inside of a fold, so unexpected and beautiful. balenciaga makes the most beautiful colored and softest leathers... I wish the bag had been bigger, it was just too small for my uses but really a cool idea!

it seemed like a great bag if you weren't carrying alot of stuff...
the combination that oceanharlot is talking about is the second pic (i haven't seen this in person)...
neiman marcus in san francisco still has the cream/brown combination of this bag...
it's still at regular price...

yeah i wish the tricolors came in a bigger size.
because i already have two other bags similar to this one in shape/size.

Hey i will buy my weekender in several days. The paris shop will send one to me the problem is that the SA told me we have every colors in weekender but yellow and purple.
So i need 2 things please: first of all, can someone please tell me the colors available for S/S 2007 and F/W 2007/2008 and maybe the colors for the pre F/W 2007 2008 collection. That would be great.

Can someone tell me where i can finf pix of the colors available.

i suggest you ask one of the sales people at the paris store as the colours are sooo many.
i have dealt with francisco and kevin lately. they both seemed helpful when i was there in the past

pre-spring 07 colors: french blue, vert gazon (grass green), truffle (medium brown), cafe (dark brown/chocolate), rouge vermillion, marine, vert d'eau (sea green), naturel

spring 07 colors: anthracite, sandstone (aka argyle), aquamarine (aka cobalt), bleu glacier (periwinkle)

prefall 07 colors: mogano (aka cinnamon), plomb (steel), ocean, tomato, mastic, tabac (aka sienna), vert fonce (dark olive green), paprika (rouille), ivory

I might have to go back this weekend and take a look. There was this dark green/almost black city there..do u know what the color of that bag was? thx

I believe the dark green/black color is anthracite.

will they be making gunmetal a regular after the 6 months? I dont like that there are like 30 different styles now with 4 different types of hardware. It makes it harder to find what you want and seems to kind of water down the style. They should go back to the basics.

^I agree. They are just banking too much on the same theme now. Its fine to have many style, but really the moto is loosing some of its classic appeal with the constant addition of more variations. I wish they would just do the small, medium, office/work, voyage, and one messenger.

^^ I have to disagree with both of you.

I like the variation. I am not a fan of the plain motorcycle style bags, I am very excited that they came out with the bigger hardware. The RH is just too boring and plain jane for me. I think the bigger hardware adds extra *umpf*.
although, on the other hand I am not sure why and who wears the work style with the big hardware..it looks like luggage. I like the first--which is fine in RH and I adore the day, in big hardware only. The city is ok, I just wish they would make the handle drop bigger so that it could fit comfotrably over the shoulder on girls who arent 100 lbs. I am approx 133 lbs now and 5"7 and the straps of the city fit snug on my shoulder....its uncomfotrable. I stick to the day bag in giant hardware.

neiman's didn't buy that color for s/s...
it was probably vert fonce (which looks very dark under their lights)...
the vert fonce had giant hardware, and the steel was RH...
they might be gone now though...
the day i was there, someone bought a steel rh city, another girl bought a mastic rh city, and someone was looking at the black GSH day...

guessgirl...i'm actually hoping they do add the gunmetal giant hardware because i'm not a fan of the gold or the silver...
they seem to only work on certain colors...
i bet the gunmetal will look great on a black bag...
mjcouture...i have to agree with you...some of the new styles for fall, like the round bag are just wrong...
and i really miss some of the styles they have phased out, like the purse and the shopping...
