hate the floral prints. maybe its the giant hardware... i hate that GH (sorry to those who <3 it) but it is just super over the top gaudy and too palm beach for my lifestyle.

Hi Balenciaga fanatics!

I am a Chloe handbag girl, but while browsing online I came across this Balenciaga handbag, and fell in love. Could anybody here help me in identifying the style name (maybe city bag or classique?). I can't wait to go to Holt Renfrew and see if they have one!

And how are Balenciaga's compared to Chloe bags, endurance/durability wise?

that is the first. I have both chloe and balenciaga and I love both! balenciaga leather is just as soft but much thinner, it depends on the style but color stranser is the same as well. These bags are muc lighter than chloe.

Alouisa...To be honest...i'd pick Balenciaga any day over Chloe..
Chloe bags are awesome but they're generally pretty heavy!....carrying These Balenciagas feels like heaven compares to them!

Lots of 07 Violet (both hardwares) including- Step, Brief, City, and First.
Pine Brief with GSH (gorgous!)
They had the Sphere in black, creme, and i think one other color with GSH (sorry, bad memory!)
Also the accessories were INSANE!
that red book thing (no idea what year, what red, or what it's called)
Boobies in Sky Blue, some sort of Camel, White, and a few others.
Anis mini bag thing (forget the name, but i SO wanted to get this! it was adorable!)
Also.. lots of shoulders, lots of wallets and travelers etc. A few makeups.
Coin purses in pink pony hair (and other pony hair colours, but i can't remember specifically)

I def think the Balenciagas "age" really well. There is something about one that is worn and slightly "beaten up" the gives it that rock/city/chic vibe most bags can't acheive past a few seasons.

Yes, it is a drive just as fashionispoison said...however I just came from there (again!) as today is their GC day.

OFF TOPIC:
Oh what fun I had...The store is raising money and awareness for breast cancer. 2% of every sale is donated and they are offering their gift cards at incremental tiers. There are many restaurants, wine vendors and gourmet grocers particpating in the event so there are tables upon tables of incredible hors d'oeuvres, fabulous wines and champagne overflowing! Needless to say, I have added to my Balenciaga collection (A fabulous Mogano City with TH) along with 2 pairs of Paige Denim and many pairs of hanky panky panties!!
