Hi, I took pics of my newest additions... from Fall 07 a yellow envelope clutch and a grape clutch and my newest a magenta first. I'm still thinking about the Bubble Gum pink...maybe after the new year...

i saw the new 08 bgum IRL and the new 08 magenta IRL.... colors are ok, and leather texture is very varied...some pleatherlike, and some ok....try to pick your new bags IRL if you can...

i think i have to bring out magenta 05 and turq o5 this week..... my 05 bgum pink leather makes me remember what a great leather year it was for bal.....

the 04 and 05 bags had the best leather...
i recently got a 04 grey city (with silver hardware), and it has the smooshiest, softest leather...
i have an 06 ink city, and even know 06 has been known as a notoriously bad leather year, i handpicked my bag, so the leather is pretty nice, but nothing comes close to 04-05 for me...

that being said, i'm still looking forwarding to seeing the s/s 08 yellow...

chauss, i agree. i truly believe that 05 was the end of an amazing era for bbags. the new leather is hit or miss. i pretty much sold all my 06 and beyonds, except for my 06 rouge vif, which has broken in nicely.

I´d love a black or red city with classic hardware. I guess I must save a bit money though first. I think bbags are somewhat modern classics. I´m so jealous of all your collections!

does anyone know if you can just scan the charge authorization form to balenciaga ny when ordering over the phone as I'm having trouble figuring out how to fax it to them (how does one fax internationally.. so complicated)? My sales associate never answered any of my emails to her either asking if it was ok to scan it or any of my questions.. poor service.

Hi Guys....havent been posting for a while,well,i havent been shopping for bags for a while,too busy with school(now that i'm schooling again at 30!) and decorating my new place,i dont know if not enuf bag shopping is good or bad!

I've never been too fond of the GH but since i found this bubble gum city,i really couldnt resist,I wish they had it in RH,but i think this will do,
My SA had Magenta and this bubblegum kept for me and i chose this one,i hope i made the right choice

the store susan (in san francisco and burlingame) had balenciaga bags at 40% off, but i don't think they have any left...
you could try calling them though...

LOL, i found the turq some times ago from a friend and i got the pistachio one when i was browsing to a store where they sell some designer bags from italy.
the porte monnaie was never there before when i last visit whcih is like a few months ago, i don't know where they got that cutie
i almost fainted when i saw this on the show case and as i didn't bring any money that day, i asked the SA to keep it for me for a day and i come back today to pick it up

I don't want to sound like a broken record especially since I am not much of a contributor at all to TFS but no one has spotted any Violet anywhere recently? I live in the UK now but am in NY for the holidays so I will buy from anywhere - I'll even consider GH at this point - ? I've been desperately waiting for a purple Bal since 04..
I'm so bummed, I missed out on a used Sky City on ebay this morning by minutes because I was stuck in traffic - it went for $470-something! Argh.

leshent has a couple on ebay now but they are pretty pricey, a part time & work with GH. Bertiebluebird has a work with RH, there is a first & a few other works & one pretty high city GH. They are mostly all above retail but I haven't seen one in the stores for awhile. Call Barney's while you are in NY & they can check all their stores for you... maybe even give Balenciaga a call??
