last years style was the long hippy wavey look i.e. joss stone, sienna miller, obviously that style is still in; but recently ive notices that the shorter style is creeping back into fashion. nicole richie, sjp have done it and now i have and i love it!!!

Coincidentally, through no fault of my own, I just got a bob (a happy accident, actually...my hairstylist completely ruined my hair with this horrible haircut 
. So I smiled politely, went home, sharpened the scissors and gave myself an adorable bob). Despite wishing my hair was long enough for extensions, I do enjoy my bob and am happy that it is making a comeback.....though I can't wait for my hair to grow back!

I got a bob too (well, more like Nicole Richie's). I've had it since March, so the novelty is wearing on me, as the trend is becoming more popular...
My trouble now is - do I maintain it's short length, and get it trimmed constantly - or do I grow it out....because the mid length is not fun IMO?!

I love this haircut/style.
It doesnt work on me tho because of my waxy hair. I am not one for blowdrying every day nor does my hair work well with a straightning iron.

It's very scary.
Just when I was about to get my hair dyed dark brown 1.5 years ago, in a month or so it became a massive trend and most celebs were going brown for the next year. Just about in February I was considering getting a bob, and now they're starting to be a big trend with the celebs.
Makes me re-think my choices now..

Well, if you look at it that way..But then again, try proving to everyone that you did NOT get a bob because sewper kool Ashlee Simpson got one too, and that you got it wayyy before her.
Anyway..I love bobs, they're lovely. But somehow I can't bring myself to part with my hair.

What exactly defines a "Bob"?
I always thought it was much shorter... but I recently got my haircut, it's about shoulder length with a few wispy layers in front and my stylist said I looked cute with a Bob haircut... didn't even know I had one. HAHA.

I've had a haircut similar to Nicole Richie's since December, and kept it up, which isn't bad, but I've decided to grow it out.
I totally agree with fezbatik-the in-between stage is awful! It's...trim...trim...trim. Just to keep the edges clean. I'm sticking with ponytails right now.
The in-between stages of bob and long styles is like puberty all over again...except in my hair. I hate it.

I have a bob now, since I am in the process of growing my hair out too.
It's not fun at all for me, since my hair takes a long time to grow
Right now I just tie my hair back into a teeny tail, but it aint so bad for me here.
Girls around my hair still like the long, rebonded look very much.
