Mango Body Butter and Coconut Body Butter...

I read in an interviwe that Gemma Ward uses the Mango Body butter on her skin because she has such dry skin and she applies it during the day.

I  The Body Shop. They have the best shower gels and body creams and amazing bath accessories, like sponges and scrub thingys, etc. And they have the best lip balm ever, watermelon flavored^_^ .

I love the body scrubs, it seems like they've re-formulated them they're not as oily as they used to be.

Like everyone else I love the body butters! So yum smelling! My favs are coconut & papaya

Bodybutters are great, in winter I use "warmer" scents like brazilian nut and cocoa, and in summer more tropical ones like mango. I love them all!

I also like the Brush-on-Beads. I have really, really light skin tone (you could not believe it if you saw me) so they give at least some colour to my face.

Their other products I am not too sure about...I once tried the aloe vera cream, and it was awful. It was like some un-breathable plastic on my face. I have also used theis masks, but didn't notice any difference before and after using them.

For about a month I have been using Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash, Tea Tree Oil Facial Toner and Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream. When I bought those three products, I was lucky enough to get a free makeup bag, which included the pink Grapefruit shower gel (in a 60 ml bottle) and the Grapefruit body butter(50 ml) along with a Aloe Vera Soothing Day Cream (15 ml) :D
I've recently bought the Pink Grapefruit Body Scrub, and tomorrow I'm going to get a Lip Butter (don't know which one yet) as a little gift from my mom. ^_^
So yeah, I'm getting all adictive with The Body Shop.

^ any good results with the TTO wash and toner?
did the seaweed cream has any spf any it?
thanks for sharing :flower:

Yeah, it has improved my skin, I've gotten away with some pimples, and some has been made smaller. I still want my skin to be even more clear, but I'm hoping that one month more will soon do the trick. ^_^
Oh, what does spf mean?

Btw as I have written I was going to get a Lip butter, and I ended up with getting the Passion Fruit Lip Butter. ^_^ Also I now know what's next on my list, after I have used the scrub and/or body butter, the coconut products -it got the best smell

spf - sun protection factor.

i bought their face brush like.. a week ago, and it makes my skin sooooo soft!

I stopped shopping at the bodyshop after it was taken over and changed to LUSH...I'm eeevvil >: ]

Dame Anita Roddick dies aged 64

from BBC News
Founder of ethical cosmetics firm Body Shop, Dame Anita Roddick, has died at the age of 64.

Her family said in a statement she suffered "a major brain haemorrhage" at 1830 BST at St Richard's Hospital in Chichester, West Sussex.
Her husband, Gordon, and daughters Sam and Justine were all with her.
Dame Anita set up the first Body Shop in Brighton in 1976. She pioneered cruelty-free beauty products and turned them into a highly profitable business.
In February she announced she had contracted Hepatitis C from a blood transfusion in 1971.
She had been taken to hospital on Sunday evening after she collapsed complaining of a headache.
'Force for good'
Prime Minister Gordon Brown paid tribute to Dame Anita, calling her "one of the country's true pioneers" and an "inspiration" to businesswomen.
He said: "She campaigned for green issues for many years before it became fashionable to do so and inspired millions to the cause by bringing sustainable products to a mass market.
"She will be remembered not only as a great campaigner but also as a great entrepreneur." The Body Shop became part of the French company L'Oreal Group in July 2006 but is run independently.

The daughter of Italian immigrants, Dame Anita became one of Britain's most successful businesswomen.
She was the first to introduce socially and environmentally responsible business onto the High Street and she was talking about fair trade long before it became a buzz word.
Body Shop - with its ethically-sourced products - was one of the icons of the High Street in the 1980s.
Its fortunes had been hit in recent years as rivals started making similar products, but the retailer fought back and has more than 2,100 stores in 55 countries.
The family's statement said: "Gordon, Justine and Sam Roddick are very sad to announce that, after suffering a major brain haemorrhage, Anita Roddick died at 6.30pm this evening at the age of 64.
"Anita Roddick was admitted to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester, close to her home, yesterday evening when she collapsed after complaining of a sudden headache.
"Mrs Roddick was admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit and her husband Gordon and two daughters, Sam and Justine, were with her when she died."
'Own mortality'
Dame Anita revealed she was suffering from cirrhosis of the liver after contracting Hepatitis C from blood given during the birth of her youngest daughter, Sam.
She said she had unknowingly lived with "this silent killer" for three decades and only found out about it two years ago after a blood test. "What I can say is that having Hep C means that I live with a sharp sense of my own mortality, which in many ways makes life more vivid and immediate," Dame Anita said.

I love The Body Shop! I buy a lot of things there . It's quite expensive here in Poland but it's worth it!

I LOVE The Body Shop!
Just got the olive shampoo and it's sooooo sooooo good for my hair (I wash it too often and other shampoos made it icky and straw-like)

I just bought the Strawberry Body Polish again  I'm getting the Satsuma Body Polish for summer, it smells so fresh ^_^ Their body lotions and body butters make my skin itch, though

Another favourite of mine is the Passion Fruit Born Lippy Balm, it's the best. I really need one
