The City

it seems promising..but its much more predictable than the hills..and way more fake it seems...

i'll be watching just for olivia :woot:

the whole Hills thing blew over my head, so i don't honestly know about Whitney Port but from the fashion articles ie. fashionista.com where the girls pretend to work..she seems pretty banal and fake.

but then again everyone seems that way

wow is olivia pretty though

what s with olivia totally obsessing over jay it s too much
she looks like trouble and seems so fake

olivia wanna get whitney in her circle before she gets drawn to the dark side (downtown crowd) it s so funny.

whenever it is online please let me knoooow! is the only chance i actually have to see it!

Awesome start!!! Whitney and Olivia looks sooo pretty both. Im so envious of their clothes

Olivia is the best thing about this show judging by last night, I love how her and her friend (main gay?) are always talking about how to introduce Whitney into the right NY scene. She brings a touch of class and realness, when considering where she is from...Jay and Adam come off douchey. I still like Whitney and Erin seems cool.

This show actually feels 10x more real than The Hills, it seems more adult and they actually speak like normal people with cursing and everything. LOL

I do feel the show is trying to go for the Gossip girl vibe though, I mean Olivia is clearly the Blair to Whitney's Serena.

has anyone pair attention to jays friend named adam? is it me or does he look like that model adam senn? google him and youll see what i mean.....

Yep, it's Adam Senn. And Allie, his girlfriend, is model Allie Crandell.

So far, the show seems even more fake and staged than The Hills, but nevertheless I liked the first two episodes.
I feel like the whole NY socialite, uptown/downtown clique thing and fashion industry thing is just much more interesting than the drama on The Hills, even though it's starting to get somewhat like that with Jay & Whitney as well..

I like the show fine thus far... it reminds me a bit of the first 3 seasons of the hills where the drama was more matured and the girls attempted some form of work. I do think it is just as fake and staged as the hills.... the bar fight between Alex and Jay is a perfect example.

It is def more interesting than the last season of the hills... hopefully it will just get better and MTV will not it for us:D

I completely agree with you!

The NY scene interests me so much more than the gossip that is being thrown around in the Hill's! ^_^

I love The City .

It seems like a more grown up, just as staged, better styling version of The Hills. I like that they swear, the NY scene is so much more interesting and it makes me want to move to a big city and become a fashion editor.

What i feel is that the show is kindda Gossip Girl but in real life, its much more interesting in terms of fashion than the hills. I still love the Hills but this one is really appealling!
