Just seen the latest episode, and omg! I'm stunned. I know that one is to not believe everything on the show, but c'mon. Olivia sat at a meeting with the Elle-crew and she couldn't even explain why she thought that Whitney Eve was a bad collection. Everyone else on Elle seemed to love it. It was not fun to watch at all. To give you the heads up: she comes across as extremely unprofesional.

I did cringe when I saw it myself. It could be the way it has been edited though.

Oh I have not seen the final part, but I have seen the trailer and it does not portray her in a good light. Saying that though Whitney's collection is not great. Did you see last week's episode, she doesn't even cut the patterns or make the samples and she has Kelly to direct her I think she only puts her name to it.

Are you serious? I didn't notice that... You mean she doesn't even design the clothes??

I don't really care how they are portraying Olivia in The City! It doesn't really change my opinion on her and I still absolutely love her. Come on, she is just so adorable and her voice is so sweet and nice. And voice can tell a lot about a person. I'm sure Olivia is really nice person and of course Olivia also has some flaws, but who hasn't? At least she's much more interesting than Whitney who is totally immature.

I don't like that show "The City". And I can't stand Olivia's character in the few episodes have seen.

In the first episode she takes her designs to a pattern cutter who makes the pattern, they then go on to make the clothes. I think she chooses the fabric. I am not sure if she has done the designs, she may have had some imput, I also do know know if she can illustrate or of she just conveys her ideas. I think MTV will be financially backing the clothing line with her name and making the majority of the money from it. Just goes to prove that if you are famous you can acheive anything. I though her designs were delicate and feminine, but disagree with Olivia when she said there was no set theme, it was all whimsical, very Whitney.

^yeah, but Whitney's style is not Olivia's one at all. I love both of their style but they're so different, I can understand why Olivia didn't really like Whitney line.

She's not an editior, she's a public relations person. It's all so contrived anyway. Conflict created for the drama of the show. Olivia probably 'works' at Elle an hour every few days i.e whenever the camera is there. Same with Whitney and Peoples Revolution.

I have mentioned this before, on the credits at the front of Elle US, Olivia is not mentioned at all. All the other editors and contributors are. That is why I think she does not work there, it is just for the polt of the show.

Well, if she works at Elle, she would be an Accesories assistant right ? I don't know if it's different for Elle, but on VP, in the credits, Geraldine Saglio wasn't in it, if I remember well and she did the same kind of work than Olivia is supposed to do.
