The City

All I know is that on mtv.com it says Finale on Monday at 10PM

:flower:

Party_Vixen... I agree w/ you about Olivia. She can be portrayed incorrectly to some extent... but her real personality shows through too & it isn't pretty.

There was obviously heavy editing on the scene where Olivia and Whitney had their meeting. Olivia said "um" in exactly the same tone about 3-5 times. MTV edited it to make her look like an idiot, and obviously choose shots of the dvf employees looking bored to go with it. Of course Olivia had to stumble in some way for the scene to exist, but I don't feel it was as bad as mtv portrayed it. quote]

100% agree, they want to make her look snob and stupid!
It's quite obvious that they pick that sad faces during the all presentation, i really dout that she get's that looks from them after her presentation.
And Whits its obviously more prepared for this kind of presentation since she's used with cameras and dealing with many people from a long time...

its so obvious about the editing btw..they even did it on the hills..they would edit in scenes randomly to make the scene look more awkward!

I like the way they edit it to make Olivia look bitchy & stupid... because I don't like her

Lol Olivia annoys me. She has the snobby rich girl attitude and I also don't like how she took credit for Whitney's work. She could at least have the decency to take her aside from everyone and say "Look I'm sorry I did this and my reason for doing that is...." then I would understand why but she didnt.

EvanJ2010: Well people tend to forget that it is a show, meaning there is editing going on, and not just a little: obviously, they do not show on TV every second of every day of these people's lives.
I'm not saying that what Olivia did was excusable or that she even apologized to Whitney at some point, but if she did I highly doubt they would show it. They wouldn't ruin their storyline and stereotypes -ugh, I meant "characters" (or whatever they are) =). This scene would probably have been (or has been) stored in the "deleted-and-never-to-be-seen-scenes", as all the other ones where Olivia presents herself as a nice person.

Its so sad the finale is on monday but I cant wait to see her and LC together again, so cute!

I think her and Jay are together and for real but she is WAY more into him then he is into her.

why does everyone want that to happen?

i want erin to hook up with jay. :shifty: then she'll actually do something interesting.

I don't know why she wastes her time with a loser like that. It's cringeworthy. She'll look back at this and wonder wth she was doing.

tonight's episode was ok.

olivia was mean to whitney about the whole jay thing. and i'm surprised she got the london deal. but at least whitney will get a chance to stand out at work with her gone. adam is crazy for going to erin's job and yelling at her. he has himself to blame for allie leaving him. and allie is stupid for going back to him. glad to see whitney finally give up on jay.

lastly i'm absolutely horrified that whitney complained about her personal life to diane von furstenburg (the actual person). dvf was very sweet about it, but still it's horribly unprofessional.

Whitney is so wimpy in my eyes. Her life is not that hard. I don't undertstand why she was questioning going to ny. Just because your bf left you, and you have to deal with a mean person at work, does not mean your life sucks. Whitney just needs to grow some b*lls.

I liked DVF's advice. And as lame as it is, I understand the urge to bring your relationship issues with you wherever you go; even your highly covetable media job can't keep your mind off things like that.

A very lackluster finale if you ask me. And where did this London job come from? Why was it never mentioned before. And I agree that Whitney needs to get her priorities straight. I actually cringed while she was telling Diane about her boy "problems". Oh and Adam, wth was that? Reminded me of Spencer. Not a good thing .

It has been cringeworthy which is one of the reason I have not been able to really get into the show. It has all the elements that I look for in a guilty pleasure but the chemistry of the cast or the lack of... has been a real turn off.

However, tonight was the best of the season. I was anticipating a repeat of Lauren season 1 of the hills... but Whitney finally wised up or the producers had a change of heart... I really like the fact she was able to see Jay for the loser that he was. This is a first for MTV in these duco-soaps because it has never been the case before. Lauren never realized that Stephen was playing her for a fool, Jason was an abusive jerk... and Brody was well Brody. Heidi remains loyal to spencer in spite of everything:shock: ... and Audrina being the fool over and over for JB. At least the producers are starting to get a clue... maybe Allie will be wiser next season.

As for Olivia... she is irksome in every possible way. I want someone to bit slap her so hard on the show and wipe that constant smug off her face:lol:
Though she is right Whitney has NO business bringing her personal life into the workplace so openly...

EVERYONE has been in Whitney, luaren, and adriana's position before (relationship wise) but those bad relationships are just not on film. I don't understand why people don't recognize that.

Well,DVF is the one who asked what was going on.It's not that big of deal anyway, since her advices seemed fake and it didn't looked sincere :innocent:

This episode was like the others kinda boring.I think that Whitney should stop bringing the whole Elle cover story all the time. She had mutiple chances to speak, she didn't took any of those chances. So it's over ! Now she has to move on.

As for Olivia being a b*tch, well I kinda agree with everyone but come one the Fashion industry is not the Love Boat.If she thinks that she's going to suceed by being nice and honest with everyone, she's an idiot. There's a lot of backstabbing in this world so she needs to grow some b**** for God's sake.

I can't believe that this show is getting another season.I'm just glad that The Hills is coming back.

I just saw the season finale. and dear God, that show is SO scripted it is getting lame. fake all over it.
