Earlier Editions

Instead of creating covers that feature the magazine's current layout, you should instead create your covers in an earlier fashion that was once present at the magazine. Be it the font, logo, image or placement of the text, anything can really be done as long as it's not a present day a depiction of the magazine.

^ It's more about the layout/overall feel. So, current models/stars would be fine, as kokobombon demonstrated.
