I went to this exhibition today...

It was not overly exciting but living in Australia we hardly get to see stuff like this. So it was nice to see some of the stuff in the flesh nevertheless. In all honesty though, for the people who have Yohji/Issey/CdG flagship stores in their cities...you're likely to find far more interesting stuff there.
I'm posting pics to satisfy people's curiosity ^_^ also I found out later on I wasn't supposed to be taking photos in there in the first place

I was too busy looking at the pieces, I swear it! :ninja:

That's not cutting edge. That's just a completely unwearable form of clothing. Galliano has been doing it for years.

Thanks for the topic honey-blade. Interesting pics too. It looks like quite a good exhibition actually.

Honey~Blade you just reminded me! I saw something about this exhibition a while back and I wanted to go. I've missed it haven't I...

Oh well. Many thanks for the pictures! :flower:

at the powerhouse museum yeah. it was good to see them 'in the cloth'.

Did you see the 'fruits' exhibition there a couple of years ago? I thought that was way more interesting seeing all those kids fashion from harajuku (spelling?).

I hope they keep on with this Japanese Fashion series...

My friend was telling me about that. I used to be a fruits fan but now it's abit too much for me. Maybe I like monotone stuff too much nowadays.

thanks for sharing honey...

i would have loved to attend the lecture on 'when fashion becomes art'...
which seems to focus on the great trinity of japanese fashion...
