Anyone who has been a PR or on the lower-end of the career scale will enjoy the book - some people when they achieve a bit of fame, reputation or just a higher career status tend to abuse their powers. It is rather disgusting and I don't approve of this behaviour from anybody regardless of their job title. I found it entertaining, albeit a bit cringeworthy, I couldn't imagine handling the constant critisism, insults and 5am-1am shifts 7 days a week but there you go, i'm looking forward to the film as a different take on the powermad vs slave who doesn't fit in genre.

Relly? Was it good?Is there a lot of great clothes and do they show the closet a lot?
Oh and could you tell me if it ends the same as in the book!
It ends the same as the book, and the closet is so much more beautiful than I had imagined!
However, I must say that the writer/love interest is kind of wierd looking, in my opinion.

You know, I am really interested in seeing this movie. I really think it will give people more insight to the fashionworld, one, and two, I just think it will be fun to watch.

I to agree with what Meryl said in W interview, the book was writeen with anger and the author didnt appreciate the position she was in,she could learn so much, yes Anna is more than demanding but frankly you have to be in her position specially when you are a woman there are so many people who would love to work for her just to observe her work but like M. said Laureen just wasnt interested!:innocent:

for those people who said they would kill for that job, i would like to say that once you are actually in that job, it is HELL!
i used to be working for a big luxorious and prestigious company/person and i did almost *********** to get the job; i loved the job itself to bits, but the stress to be working in such a bitchy environment (fashion) with your manager requesting the most silly and impossible things, it was a mission impossible every day, even when you are suppose to be off work.
surely, it is an experience i would re do again as i have learnt so much in such a small period, but it does kill your social life, self esteem, your ambition....
again, i do not reject working for such a person and company, but at the end i decided to resign to get my life back as i firmly believe in respecting people, thing that the company clearly did not
this is my 2 cent anyway :innocent:

Even People magazine is getting into the act...
